I was hoping for a glass and metal version of the 2a . I love the design of the original 2a, for sure I would have bought a flagship version of it.
Extra power, extra pixels, extra unique. Phone (2a) Plus.
If is mini version I would already pre-order, in this case why would someone go for Plus model instead of Phone 2 or 2a? But yeah, marketing is good as usual and silver colorway looks nice.

For me it is a much better offering than the phone (2a) and for just an extra Ā£50. The phone (2) offers very little more, and nothing that I canāt live without; certainly not for an extra Ā£120. In many ways, the phone (2a) plus is as good or better than the flagship (2) and is three quarters the price.
sean (1) Thatās true, but with this release I just feel they are filling the gaps in between models. What iāve read seems that lot of users are complaining about updates on lower tier (or older) Nothing phones, so guess Phone 2 get them first, also materials on Phone 2 are better as āflagshipā line. Think I will just wait for Phone 3.

Whether the back cover is glass or plastic makes no difference to me ā either way Iām putting a case on it.
Yes, the phone (2a) plus kind of sits between the two phones, or as I put it elsewhere, itās a phone (2) from the multiverse.
Iām going to pop into the London store to have a look. I was tempted by the OnePlus Nord 4 when it was revealed two weeks ago, but I think the (2a) plus might be a better buy. Can someone more knowledgeable than I am advise if there is any significant difference between the Mediatek Dimensity 7350 (Pro) and Qualcomm SM7675 Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3?
Will there be a way to trade in my Phone (2a) against a purchase of the Phone (2a) Plus?

More like āextra unnecessary and disrespectfulā towards the original Phone 2a users

Very convincing, although the intake of air needs to be taken down a notch because it sounds like theyāre gasping for air.
Did I read that the phone is actually ever so slightly smaller overall while having the same screen size? That would mean reduced bezels. Also, does that mean cases for the 2a wonāt fit the 2a+?
Hi there I am new to the nothing community and have been following this phone for a while and looking to upgrade from my pixel 3a from 2019. Since no market availability is announced yet but I do live in London is there usually a queue in the store in the morning for these limited drop style products?. The only way to get the phone is in the store. Idk how many people want or are gonna buy the phone and if itās going to run out of stock. I kinda need it desperately since my phone is on its last legs.

Super interesting. Now to see if the pricing aligns. Canāt wait to test it in our 3G / 4G (stated 4G+) market..
This looks amazing!
I really like the metal finish / color
itās a very minor upgrade in terms of specs, but itās only Ā£50 more expensive

I donāt imagine people will be queueing round the block, but maybe give the shop a call in the daytime.
Kyle Ruwan - welcome!
In terms of Soho Store drops, the last (2a) drop was a busy one. There is usually a queue, but enough stock to satisfy those who want to make a purchase.
I would recommend arriving between 30/60 mins before the Drop Time of 11:00 AM. Safe travels and enjoy the experience!
What are the key differences in features and performance between the Nothing Phone 2 and the Nothing Phone 2a plus, and which one offers better value for a budget-conscious buyer?
There is absolutely no reason to make a revision model of 2a so early on. I mean the a concept isnāt even settled in the market yet. You guys started a movement in the industry with original Nothing Phone 1 and 2 and just threw everything out the window by making this plus variant.
The public will think of you as yet another Oppo and Vivo with so many countless and pointless variants. This was a terrible decision to make Carl.
Thought you were smarter.
