Phone 2a - Display blunder black not black
It’s clear software issue. Nothing should resolve this issue.
As the brand name goes “Nothing” will change because changing the display also fetched no resolution same problem in fact the nothing exclusive service centre Mumbai where I had changed my display they are not ready to acknowledge the problem as they mentioned the problem as green tint in their job sheet. And they are not ready to exchange with a fresh unit. Also once your phone gets into repair it will start getting different problems. I am now facing calling issues i.e. When I pick up the call and say hello the other person can’t hear it in one go. I have tried switching off & removed the sim but no resolution. Also tried the same sim in another phone & it worked perfectly fine. Just wait for nothing phone 3 and they will forget that they ever made a nothing phone 2a. I can guarantee this considering their current behaviour. Most of nothing phone 2a users are more of like a ln experimental rat. They ruined the whole SMARTPHONE EXPERIENCE

Deep very very nicely said brother. The display experience has been a massive disappointment so far. All the tints, tears, rips, saturation is giving this 28k rs phone the feel of a 7k rs phone’s amoled display. Such a shame we can’t have the most basic thing fixed.
I absolutely love this phone for its software and uniqueness but Carl, fix the screens brother.

Seriously Carl and nothing team all you have disappointed us we bought nothing phone 2a with expectations that you do good work and put trust in you ,but the nothing phone 2a display ruined it all. what display you used in the phone man , my 7 year old 10,000 rupee phone produce good colour than this nothing phone 2a, its since launch of product everyone raising display problem atleast give some update on topic its hardware problem or software problem and fix it as soon as possible if u care for your coustomer , accept your fault and fix it . I have attached some photos of inaccurate colour while watching youtube video see how screen struggle to produce black and produce uneven colour and colour grading issue.
Deep I had this issue on my nothing phone 2a, I raised complaint on twitter, then they told me to give my personal number, then they called me and told me to go to nothing service centre near me, and I got my phone screen replacement free of cost.
Exactly same problem with almost every nothing phone 2a.
Yes same issue with me when playing hdr video on YouTube and other player
We have to make this problem visible to nothing team so they can take action against this problem so please everyone post ur problems more and more so they see and fix it. I will never buy a nothing phone ever they make fool out of us and they call themselves “the company which hear the voice of their community”

sh0ck This issue is primarily faced by users with BOE display units. all the BOE displays are facing this issue. check this community thread I wrote just now (reply too if possible, I’d appreciate the support):

I could be wrong but I think Nothing is ignoring these issues as fixing them can be a great tussle. but who knows. one thing for sure I know is they used very very cheap displays for the 2a’s. Shame
I’m also experiencing the green tint issue, wherever the fingerprint sensor appearing in lowest brightness at a dark environment. For anyone thinking about visiting the service center, it’s likely a waste of time. I bought NP2A Plus 8 days ago and visited the service center 3 days ago. I explained the issue, they confirmed it, and escalated it to the Nothing team. I was given a job sheet and left my phone with them. The next morning, I received a call saying that the Nothing team reviewed the issue and said “it’s not a problem” 🫨
I then reached out to Flipkart, since they offer a 7-day replacement window for defective products. I submitted the job sheet and was told my issue should be resolved by December 10th. Today’s December 8th, so we’ll see what happens. Honestly, if Nothing continues to produce cheap quality products, even if they look cool and provide a good user experience, I’m not sure they’ll last long.
