Yes its related to temper glass. I removed it now it’s perfectly fine.May be touch response is less compared to other phones. Might need to use company provided screen cover

SaikrishnaG : bro what is the issue that you are actually facing, when I click somewhere it is not responding after that the second time it works well. the issues got after the tempered glass applied
Yeah I’ve got couple of bubbles on the left border. It’s normal to get bubbles right.
ShahadSha if it’s a tempered glass issue it should always be there no? I mean I am experiencing like 5 or 6 times a day.. need to touch 3-4 times.. then it’s okay.. I didn’t use the phone without tempered glass. So I don’t know if that’s the issue.
Facing similar issue especially in 3 button navigation option.
Even haptics are half baked, feel incomplete & experience is nowhere close to flagship due to the same.
Even lot of grey & non AMOLED BG are not pleasing
Current overall experience is NOT NICE..
Even Ideal battery drain is comparatively high in standby and minimal to moderate non gaming use case…
Even my previous 7 year old 3T experience was way better considering the age of the device but with NP2 it’s not good at the moment…
Nothing you guys need to improve not only vibration & haptics but also the touch & unresponsiveness related issues, this is very poor experience for phone that costs 50k+
Touch & haptics are definitely half baked, Nothing OS has hardly any customisation and POOR implementation of grey cheap looking UI in place of AMOLED deep black in almost all the places is biggg downside for OG clean deep black UI enthusiasts..
Facing the same issue, bought the phone 3 days ago.
I thought it’s only on my device earlier. Touch becomes unresponsive randomly at different places and only works after multiple touches on the same spot. This is really highly unexpected and disappointing to be honest. I thought the quality will be on par with iPhones or atleast flagship Androids.
Please tell us if this is a software fix or should we go to the service center or get this device replaced.
Guys if you are reading this can you please elaborate on the issue while posting, really helpful to know how similar the issues are. If you guys are also facing heating issue please let me know. Because I am facing little bit of that also.

Having same issue even change my tempered glass still it shows problem of touch unresponsiveness

ShahadSha I have tempered, but I was facing this issue before applying tempered also. Honestly whether tempered or not, it should work. Even phones at 1/4th of this price don’t have these serious issues.
@changename @Update Name I might be wrong but does this issue have to do anything with Settings>System>Gestures>Mistouch Prevention. 64 postings here but no one from the team has yet answered any of it.

Guys I have tried using my phone without a screen for 2 days and now there’s no issue.. mine was a third party screen guard I bought from Amazon.. wondering if the same problem will be there with tempered glass from nothing. Any insight?
And it’s been 4 days since I have emailed nothing support regarding this issue and still no reply. That’s not a good sign for sure.
Anyone using nothing’s tempered glass have this issue? I have reapplied third party tempered and now there’s issue again. Wanted to know if nothings own tempered would solve the problem. Anyone?

ImtiazMohammed Yes issue is still there with nothing screenguard & tempered glass.. Same issue was there without plastic scratch guard which came with the device, problem remained the same after removing that plastic scratch guard..
And it’s still there with Nothing’s official tempered glass..
Extremely poor support or we can say no support from Nothing…Good for nothing as of now…

i tired it with their official nothing guard and with gadgetshield gurad too… 7 out of 10 time i found my self tapping on back button like 3 or 4 time just to make it happen .. worst quality of touch screen
I am facing same issue that touch is not responding most of the time….I compaint this in the service centre and got the device replaced but facing same issue…..What should I do

No heating, no overload, no other issues are there but this issue is ruining nothing’s prestige
Every 5k priced phone is running fine even with cheap screen protectors but not this one.
New phone from the first day having this issue. Everyone is talking about why can’t team nothing is looking over.
I have read all the replies, and all of are quoting the same issue.
Issue…. Touch panal not recognise touches some times. Like you are clossing something and you press the close button and it doesn’t recognise the touch, then we have to touch it again to close the thing.
The issue is not in any specific app or action. It is all over everywhere like in key board, clossing x button windows, shifting one raw to another while typing, clossing adds in youtube and games, clossing post or adds in facebook, everywhere.
Its just randomly doesn’t recognise the touch.
