I am also facing the same issues with the screen and this is really annoying. I recently got this phone amd welcomed with the one of the worst glitches which is completely ruining the experience. Only reason i have choosen this phone is for user experience. And i see this issue is pending for long time. Kindly fix this issue asap.

    The issue imho isn’t screen protector related, it’s the pressure required as I’ve noticed if I press harder the screen works as it should, however this isn’t right as the pressure I have used on touch phones for near 20 years now has not changed & I have about 6 phones that I use for various things, they all work with the same pressure flawlessly, so imho this is a touch pressure calibration needed which should resolve the issue, he says, let’s hope it can be calibrated.

    What doesn’t make sense & may actually present as hardware fault is the issue comes & goes, so logic suggests, if the current touch pressure settings are adaptive as in change with usage then this may cause said issues, if we were to believe it’s a static setting, then why is the touch response changing at will, hence why I hypothesise a hardware fault or tolerances need adjusting to counter the issue.

    Either way they need to fix it & fix it fast.

    Ironically, I went to press “post reply” the screen didn’t accept my press, so had to do again, harder.

      NHN looks like this issue is not present in Android 14 beta version. As i checked with one user. Let’s hope they will fix this soon

        Guys facing the same problem from 2 weeks of getting the phone.. As told above it’s related to touch pressure… it’s more evident with a screen protector.. I had even sent videos of the mistouch issue to the service team.. but they haven’t acknowledged.. They still want me to reset everything and provide a bug report.. Which was already provided though..

        Completely unsatisfied with Nothing’s support for genuine issues which are being observed in multiple users devices / NP2’s..

        Even after highlighting this over multiple platforms for multiple times there’s no response, positive resolution or attempt from the company for which users put their 550+ $ / 45000+ INR…

            AdityaDange21 BTW worst or we should say best part for now is, I’ve switched back again to my 7 year old 1+3T as it is still (almost) runs buttery smooth with extremely optimized & deep black UI with minimal lags here & there and secondly it doesn’t have any touch, responsiveness & haptics related issues which 7 years newer cousin NP2 has..🤡

              2.0.4 hasn’t fixed the issue either, absolute joke of a company tbh.

              Hi I’m facing lot of touch response issues while playing BGMI, I have changed the refresh rate to high even though it’s same. And also if accidental touches on any corner will awaking the quick switch display mode which is so irritating. Really poor optimisation of gaming mode,is there any solution for this issues guys.

                Hi, the problem got noticeably better for me after I changed the icon theme in the Laucher from Nothing to Standard and the Layout from four to five. I can’t explain why it got better, but I can reproduce the problem this way.

                  This needs to be fixed already.

                  Onchap19 Tbh I use nova & I’ve used that for years, it’s not a theme issue imho, it’s just a pressure related setting, if you press harder it’s fine.

                  The silence from nothing makes we wonder if there is actually a batch of screens with issues, but the fact another user got a new handset as replacement & same issue, it debunks that unless the replacement was from the same batch.
