I have seen an unforeseen issue with Nothing Phone 2’s battery, that it is losing more than 4% to 6% of charging when I keep it idly at night almost for 7 to 9 hours. I keep all the things off. Also phone goes into power off mode but still it loses 4% charging seems bad. I have used other phones like OnePlus 11, Realme GT 2 & Mi 11 & moto edge 30 ultra, none of them loses more than 2%. So it’s the issue with Nothing only in my experience. Please check & fix with an update if possible. Overall battery backup is good, SOT is around 8+ hours in mixed usage. But idle drain is concerning issue.
I have the same issue with the NP (1). Charged to 92% left it for 24hrs and the charge had dropped to 84% only with the sim card (data off) network on. Can this be addressed??

thalapathy Same here. Tried factory reset, turning off data, wifi, Bluetooth, even battery saving mod. Nothing helps. Still draining a lot of battery when idling, but according to battery monitoring apps, like accubattery the phone sleeps well.
What apps are you using and what are their usage ?… You can’t say I have problem and not sharing the info, it’s impossible for people to help you that way.
It’s been reported for example that the Withing watch app is a major issue in battery drain, and it could be for other.
Remi F this info will make no sense, cause its showing insane numbers. Its obviously software problem, related to rom it self, not apps iam using, cause 1) I already told u that i did a factory reset which means there is no apps but stock and 2) there is no such issue on my other phones.

This company is a joke as well as their support. I mailed them about battery issue in 2.5.2 and they said to visit the service center after taking all my phone details. Nothing please remove your good for nothing glyphs and provide a problem free software environment. We made a mistake believing in one man ‘Pei’ and forgot that a company is great if has a good team. Atleast OnePlus provides good hardware which compensates their bloaty software. And they compare themselves with Apple. No wonder Apple is a Titan.

Anyone else facing battery drain issue after the 2.5.2 update? It used to get 7-8hrs SOT but now just 4-5hrs and especially with bugged SOT of nothing phone, I can’t even share screenshot proofs. Still Anyone else facing the same battery issues?

ItsAssassin How many days it’s been since you’ve updated? After a fresh update, it’s best to give it a few days of usage before claiming it has “battery drain”, just to make sure it wasn’t a one time thing.
