Too much way to much battery drain after 2.5.3 update getting around 7 hours of sot. Earlier I used to get 12-13 hours last week. My device is 3 weeks old.

If you haven’t already, try leaving the phone on the charger, idle without using it, for 2 to 3 hours after it is fully charged to 100%. System will optimise itself again in the background after each new update and this can lead to higher battery consumption if it’s combined with using the phone. This way the optimisations will be done much quicker and this can help in getting you better battery again.

Sahil_aGH4I8eykz I am on NP (2a) so that’s not really an accurate comparison to your phone, but I’m getting around 8 to 9 hours of SOT with about 30 - 35% left when I go to sleep.

Stringfellow_hawke I used to get exact same amount of backup I used my phone heavily between 10-7 still left with 30% of battery on 2.5.2

Sahil_aGH4I8eykz Yeah, I am not saying the method I suggested is a magic fix, some OS versions can just give you bad or worse battery. But I noticed that after a new update battery always was worse, cutting of a few hours of SOT. But once I plugged it in overnight and let everything optimise, it got better to around the same level mostly

Same happening with me as well. After 2.5.3 update the battery is draining very fast, heating issue, and Its consuming to much network data.

After 2.5.3 update, the battery backup is very bad even after allowing OS to settle. Stand by battery drain is very evident. Infact the battery backup is not impressive for the last two updates.

After the last update of April patch My Phone 2 is heating too much and battery is draining like a hell even on normal usage (just X and insta scrolling) still can’t understand that😮‍💨😮‍💨

I still love this device for it’s features but the charging issue is really bothering me now, I’m using 65W CMF charger brick and i’m getting random charging speeds at random times, Sometimes it takes 1:15 hrs to full charge and sometimes it takes almost 2hrs, I don’t have time to run to service centre and can’t prove this issue since it happens randomly, Now it feels like i made a mistake for trusting this brand and no excuse like “Hey it’s only 2 year old brand!” can justify this issue.

CuratedBits they should really come out clean about the fast charging lies.. 25 max is not 45w… Same for the 120hz screen.

But they won’t. We really got swindled, nothing lied to us.

I think we all shoud start giving feedback through settings, As we can’t mention the mods. And i don’t think nothing software team reads te replies. So yeah!
