VivekBhagat I’ve upgraded from the Realme GT 2, which featured the Snapdragon 888 and was launched nearly 2 years ago. Surprisingly, this new phone doesn’t support 90 fps in 8+gen1, unlike its predecessor which supported it despite being a 2-3 year old device.

The bionic chipset is the only one capable of running ultrafine without dropping any frames; this is why iPhones consistently maintain their frame rates. However, Android devices require a minimum of 90 fps to remain competitive because no matter how optimized they are, stability remains elusive 😉

Now, I can confidently say that they are disregarding user feedback and suggestions. They have already outlined their OTA roadmap and implementation strategy.
Moderators, could you please provide a comprehensive list of user feedback implementations across all aspects, including the wishlist thread?
Although the community is active and people have faith in the team’s ability to implement their wishes, I’m increasingly skeptical due to the management and work culture issues. Despite receiving assurance from official Nothing support regarding my wishlist(90fps)[BGMI Dev clearly Stated nothing configuration isn’t verified yet by the brand],
The promised fixes(Q3 COMMUNITY) are continuously delayed.
I had considered purchasing Phone 3, but now I’m uncertain due to these concerns. It seems they are aware of the issues and have reports, yet they continue to delay many wishlist items. It appears that it will take several years to fully optimize this phone, so I’ve decided not to wait for Phone 3 and will explore other handsets for a better experience.

Every one expects this from a flagship processor. Even poco f1 supports 60FPS. Not only with BGMI frame rate is capped for farlight84 also. What nothing expects us to do? go and mail to every developer to enable high frame rate option for np2. What is the point of having 8series soc if we can’t utilise it. UI is smooth ok, but nothing os has minor customisation comparing to other Android skins, it will run fine with a 778G or new 7 series chipset. Even SD870 runs bgmi on 90fps. Don’t trust online reviews and don’t preorder a phone atleast from new startup companies.

Guys r we getting 90 fps in bgmi 3.2 update or no . I downloaded pubg beta version to check but it only showed smooth extreme option but some people r saying that we might get it I don’t know for sure so I thought I should ask the community . I hope we do get it this time otherwise I’ll be truly disappointed I mean we r not getting any response from the nothing team at this issue at all which makes me wonder what’s the point of even having a community when u r not even going to listen to us . Me personally I won’t every buy any nothing product ever again forget buying I won’t even consider it it’s better to stick with reputed brands then to place ur faith in an unknown startup I used to be a great admirer of this device but my 6 months of user experience made me realise that it’s full of bugs and glitches. Atlast if anyone is considering buying phone three or any of their products i strongly recommend not to u should instead go for apple or Samsung they r way better trust me on that

Could someone from the Nothing team please provide an update? It’s been almost 10 months since we asked about this, and there has been no response from the team. With many phones nearing the end of their warranty periods, it’s becoming concerning.

Is there any other hardware limitation that prevents Phone2 from running this game at 90Hz? Phones with SD870 runs this game at 90FPS, and those phones are also slimmer and lighter than Phone2.

The issue isn’t just with BGMI; games like Farlight84 and T3Arena also don’t support frame rates higher than 60FPS.

Please provide an update regarding this matter.

I’ve been saying this from past 3-4 months,they keep making excuses like it’s out of our hands.
Apparently, it’s the developers’ fault, but they’ve already capped the fps at 60.( Except ACTIVISION C profile)
I even reached out to the game developers officially, and they straight up said it’s not their problem, it’s solely on the nothing team.
And when we talked to the nothing team, they’re conveniently denying everything.
It’s all on them, but they seem to think they can wait until their next phone launch NP3 or maybe Android 15 to bother fixing it.
Classic move, right?
Actually i got this news from someone in nothing team so in NP2 the 90 fps is coming, but it will be delayed.
It will be launched shortly after their NP3 release.
Their promotional moves and advertisements will follow suit. I had already mentioned a few months ago that they are targeting the gaming community with their flagship chipset.
All of this is marketing. So, if you want to wait, go ahead, but I upgrade my phone every year, and it’s been 7 months since the last one…

Never again buying a Nothing’s phone. All the updates never bring an upliftment rather degrade the performance. As nothing claims that they are a different brand from other in the market and claim or wish to do something new from others still they fail. Even after so much replies and demand from customers still the 90 fps update is not rolled out.

Very disappointed with nothing 2 bgmi performance….my OnePlus 6 had smoother 60 fps (smooth-extreme) than nothing 2. And that phone was 6 years ago in 2018 with snapdragon 845……this has 8+gen 1 and still don’t support 90 fps….and just an average 60 fps performance.

PSYCHO yes, it gets hot even when you use apps like instagram, youtube etc. and when gaming it gets hotter than it used to.

and i think they are following “the apple way”
