-Ā Organized Settings:Ā The categorized layout makes accessing features far easier, offering a more streamlined user experience.
-Ā App Drawer Performance:Ā Smooth and responsive, the app drawer works wonderfully, giving quick access to apps.
-Ā Network Settings:Ā The optimized controls for Wi-Fi and data usage were a highlight, working efficiently throughout my usage.
-Ā Fingerprint Animation:Ā Snappy and visually appealing, the fingerprint unlock animation adds a cool flair to everyday use.
-Ā Auto-Archive Feature:Ā A fantastic addition, helping to keep things organized without much effort.
Cons:
-Ā N Dot Font:Ā While the new serif font looks clean and modern, I personally miss the signature N Dot font from previous versions.
-Ā Clock Faces:Ā The clock faces could use a little more creativity and variationāthereās definitely room for improvement here.
-Ā Network Issues:Ā Faced quite a few glitches when switching between mobile data and Wi-Fi, which impacted connectivity.
-Ā Instagram Bugs:Ā Encountered issues with Instagram storiesāsometimes they wouldnāt progress forward or backward.
-Ā Update Check Problems:Ā There were consistent errors when checking for updates, with messages saying there was no internet connection despite being connected.
-Ā Lack of Gallery & Widgets:Ā No native gallery app, and features like a countdown widget would have been a nice touch.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, I enjoyed my time experimenting with Nothing OS 3.0. The design and functionality updates offer a fresh and enjoyable experience. However, the persistent network issues made me roll back to a previous version.Ā Caution: If youāre planning to roll back, be sure to back up your data, as the process will erase everything.
Despite these issues, Iām excited to see what the stable update brings and look forward to giving it another go soon!
