Do I listen to very high quality music from Apple Music using Buds?

I don’t have LDAC…

    Apple Music does not support LDAC anyway.

    There are a lot of variables that will factor into the quality of your experience.

    Firstly Apple Music supports the following Codecs:

    • High Quality AAC 256kbps
    • Lossless ALAC up to 24-bit/48kHz
    • Hi-Res Lossless ALAC up to 24-bit/192 kHz

    Secondly, it depends on what buds you’re using. Most buds will not provide you with the lossless experience that Apple Music offers, and for this you would benefit more from using wired headphones or a dedicated DAC. If you’re not using LDAC as mentioned in your post, you’re likely just using one of the standard codecs, AAC or SBC. These codecs are the most widely used/supported and will provide you with a good, average experience which is more than enough for most people.

                First you should learn what LDAC does mean.

                  MarcinX Yes because apple doesn’t control LDAC the android os controls that any audio will be LDAC if you have an LDAC compatible device. if you want to use your buds with iphone then LDAC wont work because iphone do not support LDAC

                    I understand what LDAC is. And the argument directly above me - while correct - is not entirely applicable to the original question. (also i believe this is taken from one of the first google results when searching for this)

                    You asked specifically if you would see any benefits to using Apple Music without LDAC, which i explained thoroughly above.

                    Android controlling LDAC, and whether Apple Music supports LDAC are two different arguments. Apple Music does not directly support LDAC on all devices, and certainly not as a selectable codec, as Apple use their own high quality AAC and ALAC codecs.

                    Some people reading this may also not be on Android, which also wasn’t made clear in the original post. Either way LDAC is not relevant based on the information given.

                      Derren Absolutely right dear! I would like to share my experienced with my Ear (2) which I personally madly fallen love with this earbuds.

                      Previously I used to listen music on Spotify Premium and Youtube Music Premium with high quality settings enabled as mentioned above but recently I purchased Macbook Air 15″ (M3)👨💻 got me Airpods 4th gen with ANC since that day I use to listening on Apple Music, believe me Ear (2) and Apple Music provide us best quality music ever I listened on the Phone or Mac 🤩. It feels like I’m listening Spatial Audio on our Ear(2) as well.

                      We know that Airpods with Apple devices tuning best in the world but Ear (2) surprised me that it gives me same experience with Apple products which is evry worth penny.
