I understand what LDAC is. And the argument directly above me - while correct - is not entirely applicable to the original question. (also i believe this is taken from one of the first google results when searching for this)
You asked specifically if you would see any benefits to using Apple Music without LDAC, which i explained thoroughly above.
Android controlling LDAC, and whether Apple Music supports LDAC are two different arguments. Apple Music does not directly support LDAC on all devices, and certainly not as a selectable codec, as Apple use their own high quality AAC and ALAC codecs.
Some people reading this may also not be on Android, which also wasn’t made clear in the original post. Either way LDAC is not relevant based on the information given.
