krishnanandA same problem with my np2 on wifi
Connectivity issues on Nothing phone 2
Guys I may have a solve, try changing your WLAN channel width on your router to 40MHz the issue with mine was that it was set at 20/40MHz which I think the phone 2 must not support
Every device has some different issues, mine 512 GB version has issues with 5G only. Not passing more than 100Mbs. Shall I keep the device or return?
I have a similar issue where it struggles with weak SIM signals and has frequent call drops especially on Airtel. It struggles to keep staying connected to Wifi and 5g.
another failure. Trying to connect a Xiaomi device with its app, it was impossible to connect to the device, it gave me a connection error. I have tried with another smartphone and it connected the first time and with nothing I have not been able to, no matter how much I have tried it while respecting the device and the app. impossible
I have Jio & Airtel sims & the mobile signals are weak in my home since the mobile towers are over 4-500 meters away.
Since I also have an Airtel optical fibre broadband, I have turned on wifi calling, & have no issues with receiving & making calls.
Those of you who have wired broadband could try out wifi calling as a solution.
Currently I am own a Nothing Phone 2 (512 GB) version and I am facing a same issue in which I am receiving very slow speed from Wi-Fi. It is happening only in this phone all of the devices are working properly with Wi-Fi
krishnanandA I am also facing the exact same issue…the download speed is very slow but upload speed is decent ( but still slow)
AshutoshPanda_7XlFapecQw as I said above, try logging in to the router via your laptop and change your WLAN bandwidth to 40Mhz that’s the only thing that I’ve tried that has worked for me I currently don’t know of any other fixes
krishnanandA Was your wifi download speed restored after you change your WLAN bandwidth to 40Mhz?
Open a Web browser and Type your router’s IP address in to the browser’s address bar.Hit Enter after you type in the IP address (example: http://123.456.1.1)
Your browser may display a warning screen at this point, then Click Proceed.
Most routers have a sticker on them that shows information such as the router’s IP address (shown as Router login details and the username and password you need to log in to the router
Enter the router’s username.
Enter the username and password exactly as they appear. They are case sensitive.
If you’re having trouble finding the username and password, check the documentation that came with your router or contact the router manufacturer.
Then follow this link to change only the channel width to 40Mhz

*Please note your interface might not look like this since it’ll be different internet distributers
I get like 30mbps download now
krishnanandA thank you so much !

Hello everyone,
I’m having trouble connecting to the Jio True 5G network on my Nothing Phone 2. My previous phone had 5G, and my area is covered. I tried auto select mode but it’s not working, and when I tried selecting ‘Jio true 5G’ manually, I received an error saying “Couldn’t connect”
And only one APN is showing in the menu that is ‘Jio4G’
Does anyone have any solutions to this issue?
Thank you in advance for your help!
