My friend got Nothing Phone 2 yesterday from India for me in Berlin, and guess what, same issue, the phone can’t even go past the initial setup.
This should be mentioned in block letters on Nothing Phone 2 listing page, that the phone is Region Locked only for Indian Consumers.
Now, I am just stuck with this brick!! I had asked customer support to Unlock the Phone, they are asking me to wait for 24-48 hours, definitely not the user experience I was expecting.
P.S. It has been almost 48 hours, the customer care said that the team has unlocked the phone, but it is still locked!! now they have raised the ticket again and have asked me to wait for another 24-48 hours!! Gotta love the user experience 😃
