Natalie I don’t want to perform a factory reset since i have authenticator app on it and it would create a big hassle for me. Can you confirm if i can try the beta without performing factory reset. I am willing to handle some glitches for sometime after the update of beta 2 arrives it will be all good i think. But you can guide me well
Where is the battery life information? Where is the diagnostic mode? Where are the android 15 chips?
While a factory reset isnt required to join the beta, you have to be prepared to do one if you revert back to a previous version or experience any issues.
If you’re using this device as your primary and you have important things on there such as authenticators, then my advice is to wait for stable.
@Derren will i get the stable version if am still on the beta version?
Nothing001 Usually you will recieve a stable OTA while on beta
I am excited to use this but a lil scared to install it on my primary device. Should i do it or not ?
Derren So there is no need for factory reset if am in the beta version ? what i mean is will I automatically get the stable version even if am in the beta version and no reverting back or factory reset will be required right?
If its your primary device, and you’re worried, thats probably your answer.
SiddhantChopra_DwivHigVaU I did and nothing happened
Nothing001 Usually this is the case, but it is a beta and there are disclaimers. The user is resonsible for anything that occurs due to installing this software, backups are also recommended.
Derren Nothing important to backup… my only concern is getting the stable version whilst am still on the beta that’s the one thing I really need a confirmation on…. otherwise thanks for the quick replies.
LucasFanelli working fine here
Sickchild72 Oh, it could be a region issue? Because I try it using mobile data or wifi and it still doesn’t work. I’m in Europe
