Hey!
In Summer this year right after the launch I decided to buy CMF Buds Pro 2, and I am amazed by them! The quality is fire and I really like them, but right now on amazon the Nothing Ear(a) are on a heavy discount and from looking at specs, the Ear(a) in some aspects look worse then CMF Buds Pro 2 (Amazing naming scheme) like in Noise Cancelling, and in some aspects it’s just a little bit better…

So my question is, is it worth it to upgrade? Also sorry if this is tagged wrong, I have no idea where to put this…

Xx_Bijezone_xX Hey mate, take this with a pinch of salt. I should start by asking, what do you want your earphones? But, I have both and, honestly, I prefer the CMF Buds Pro 2. The ear(a) undoubtedly has the better design and better build quality however, if you compare the listening experience, I prefer CMF Buds Pro 2 and even in features like ANC/Transparency there’s so little between the two that I wouldn’t buy the ear(a) if I had CMF Buds Pro 2.

I’m sure someone else the community will have a solid perspective 🙂

hrry changed the title to CMF Buds Pro 2 Vs. Ear(a) - Should I upgrade? .

hrry To be quite honest, the thing that I want from my earbuds is that they should look cool and have better ANC or better sound quality, I thought the almost 2x price tag on Ear(a) would mean that they are better in the technical parts and not just design… sigh…

This whole range of products is weird, because there is no “Upgrade Path” that I’ve noticed, yeah I could buy the Ear(a), but the benefits are just design, Yeah I could buy the Ear but it’s still just design and some other mostly software features…

The function wheel on the case is what really sold me on the CMF Pro 2. I mean, I’ve got some fancy xMEMS earbuds that sound better, but these are my go-to’s now.

I bounce between my phone, Switch, and mostly my PC, and having that little control wheel right there on my desk is a game-changer. Seriously, can’t believe I went so long without it!
