This is a really cool concept! I really like the style and the ideas behind it.
I have one doubt regarding the Glyph interface: If the LED bars are in the back side of the screen, how will the user see them? It feels like the LEDs would be more useful for other people in the room than for the user itself. The Glyph makes sense in a phone, because you can put it upside down on a table, but if your laptop is closed, it’s supposed to be in sleep mode.
As an example, my Asus ROG laptop has a backlit logo on the backside of the screen, and most times I completely forget that it exists, because 99% of the time I see my laptop from the front.
