Is there anyone faced problems regarding phone heating after latest update which is 2.5.6? In phone 2?

TejasMaisuriya yes. Only during gaming. Rest of the time it works perfectly and also battery life is great. Problem was from 2.5.5 and still continuing.

After 2.5.6, my phone 2 is not charging rapidly and the battery has been heating heavily while charging. This is the first time, I am observing the issue with my phone.

I am using CMF GAN charger and that also is not charging the phone properly, unless I switch it off and charge it.

Kindly look into the battery issues at priority, as I am unable to use my phone for 2-3 hours of SOT as well after completely charging it for 100%.

Edit:

Seems like my issue was due to allowing Cred as a default app for NFC Tap. After changing NFC app to Gpay, battery is back to normal.

Phone 2 performs around 30% slower than devices with 8+ Gen 1 chipset while it also heats more and lasts lesser.

There’s nothing good coming out of performance loss in anyway, this makes it clear why BGMI does not support 90 FPS while other phones with same processor does.

It’s visible in benchmarks or in normal gaming performance.

After the 2.6 update of nothing my NP2 is overheating when it’s just idle. And doesn’t cools down as well, i tried cooling down it in my refrigerator but after taking out from it started to overheat again. Also battery dropping drastically because of this issue. Yesterday i had to charge 3 times my NP2 because it was loosing charge by itself and getting unnecessarily hot. Dear Nothing, please this is some serious level issue you must fix.

DebojyotiBiswas I think the behaviour of your device doesn’t hold true for all devices (I am a NP2 user myself since July 2023 and the battery life is still fantastic). Maybe do a factory reset or have a battery change 😇

I purchased NP2 8gb/256gb variant 3 days back and I am unable to charge NP2 to full 100%. Even after keeping the phone idle after connecting a charger, charging stops as mobile phone gets overheated and charging stops by itself as phone is overheated. Someone please advise what to do ?

VaishnavKSuresh Yes, the same in phone 1. After running the program or game, 2 minutes later, the phone cannot be held because of the heat. Please solve the problem. This is a big problem.

The phone 2 in OS 2.6 is overheating while using camera and while playing games like BGMI/ PUBG.

VishwanathS_ghante yes bro this such a weird problem, sometimes with normal use the temperature rises to 40 °c .

You should unblur that two screenshot because others will think that you have posted different timeline screenshot

Hello Community I hv been a Phone 2 User for 5 months now , but recently I have witnessed that the temperatures of my device is skyrocketing even while performing bare minimum tasks like Video streaming in YouTube. Do anybody have any solution for this problem ? It’s getting so hot that it’s becoming a difficult task to even hold my cell phone
