I was just about to moan how another day has gone by and I don’t have the 3.0 update on my 2(a) but it appears to have finally turned up 😂

The new update is smoothe and great. But the design is so amateur. The fingerprint animation is too small to make any impact. The charging animation looks like my phone has chicken pox. The shelf icons are so inconsistent. They lack consistency in stroke and art style. Even Xiaomi has better UI than the nothing now.

Really really disappointed with the latest update.

I bought the phone for it’s design and honestly internally it doesn’t make sense to me.

I received the update in the UK today. Smooth upgrade process, no issues with 3.0. Great job nothing!

AI app draw was hopeless.

I already have 6 trays on the home screen and they were all split up when the AI wanted to place them.

    Alexshax I’m not talking about the animation around fingerprint scanner, I’m talking about the wave-like animation which goes through the screen when the screen is unlocked.

    You should look some videos on YouTube where the phone is unlocked by fingerprint in NOS 2.6. Hope it’ll clarify what I am trying to say.

        OS 3.0 now downloading 🕺UK.. 🤞 Its worth the wait but I’m sure it will be.

        Currently my cmf phone is on Android 14 cant update it to 15 and thus wont able to upgrade to nothing 3 o s

        Geographical location is Saudi Arabia

        Any thoughtful ideas to perform updates smoothly

            Well got the OS 3.0 and so far 😐

            The beta app drawer is not very good and the many apps it organised incorrectly you can’t manually move or organise yourself. The pin lock screen looked better before as it now looks like any other phone. not sure on the quick access drop down either yet, maybe it will grow on me.

              You can change the smart app drawer by tapping on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner when the app drawer is open and go back to the default.

                    robot-hari download the icon packs from play store.. there’s loads of great options. Search ‘Nothing Icons’

                        JasonSean yes there’s lot of alternatives but i was used nothing 3.0 beta at the time i used but now they change anything in nothing icons . Please resolve this

                          The packs have the complete dot-icons library. You can have the same ‘Nothing’ look. It will solve your problem very easily.

                            I have gone back to the default view but I would have preferred the new version if the app organisation worked by AI / manually would have been better. 🤞 Next update.
