great work.bravo.respect from spetses greece.np1 user.love this phone

Just received OS3 on NP1, UK. Can’t see anything different really apart from a ‘transparent clock’ option. Where are all the funky clocks? The header video to this thread isn’t the OS3 I’m looking at or am I missing something?!

I’ll keep exploring…👍

Issue with Nothing Launcher on Phone 1 after 3.0 Update , have switched to old launcher to use the phone. Else its stuck on a black screen

plz Battery icon change and icon iphone look

MelwynCoelho Updated Nothing Launcher on Google Play. It froze for about a minute, but then everything started working perfectly.

you’ve removed your branded font and style, and are abruptly switching to the standard Android system, maybe then you should install a clean android already?

All I bought notingphones for is your operating system and design, now I only have design and downs/bots in the comments that spam “this is revolution Johnny”

please - give me a choice of the system font so that I can install the old font that is “dots”

or give me a choice to roll back the operating system to 2.6,

    3.0 - failure Johnny, complete

_2A_X79SsGvptE You can try to turn on the option “Dot matrix title” in Experimental Features? It can bring back some NDot font.

There are multiple problems with this new update. I’ve been testing the OS 3.0 update for a week and there so many Ugly things about it. First of the spacing of the AI App roster looks hideous, quick access spacing looks hideous and lazyly thrown together.

The ui didn’t get resized in some regards what makes some very bad looking text overlap. What have you guys been up to, you guys promised a great Operating system experience but the recent changes are just Minimalist cutting blob only a 15yo will throw together.

Merged 1 post from Who's idea was this ui change. .

I just want the retro clocks in the video…

Have to say on OS3 the battery life is epic on my NP1! Full marks for that.. 😎👍

We cannot download the stable update in week. They can’t download and stop at download process.

JasonSean long press on empty space on your home screen, tap on Customisation (or go to Settings > Customisation) and tap on your Lock Screen. You should then be able to swipe through the different clock faces.

          Hello!

Updated 2 days ago with V3.0-250113-1723-EEA

So far my Bluetooth connection is stable and fast and there is no need to restart phone, haven’t noticed any issues with my devices for 48h.

Feels like issue will be fixed.

          Confirmed with:

          - Garmin Venu 3

          - BMW Idrive Bluetooth

          - JBL 500BT Live

Thank you for fixing that, this issue was huge.

Hi nothing it’s great to see the new NOTHING OS 3 on every nothing phones and design and the animations are good but I’m having difficulty with my cmf phone 1,when I’m in the home screen when I want to access the tabs in the background sometimes it stucks midway and doesn’t open the background tabs, it mostly happens after using a app(which requires internet and heavy apps like editing apps and gaming apps) and the wifi when I use my other phone for taking hotspot the internet connection is not stable and the app which I’m working it lags and internet is not working properly, it happens after the new OS 3.0 update . Hope you notice this post and check the problem, the OS is seriously good and gives smooth experience

JohnTheDon You do realize when new android versions are released even pixel phones don’t have all the features and they get them in bimonthly feature drops. Anyways you can make a list what you “ found ” from the important missing features and ping adbo

Saw a comment about this and I would want the team to look into it, the fingerprint wave animation is gone in 3.0 and it made it so much more satisfying to open the phone. The way the screen slowly revealed itself from the fingerprint sensor

Maybe it’s a bug or maybe it was intentional but I see no reason to have changed that

Thank you to the design team for the effort and creativity put into the latest update! It’s clear that a lot of thought went into refreshing the UI. However, the earlier UI felt more intuitive and visually pleasing to me. I find the current UI design challenging due to its reliance on circle icon buttons, especially on the top drawer and I miss the old alarm button. The abundance of circle icons might make it hard to identify their purpose quickly. I love this phone and I hope you’ll consider bringing back some of the elements that made it so different compared to others, or perhaps offering more customization options for fonts in the future. Keep up the great work! 😊

DavidHardy They have disabled the 6ghz, for me who waited a month before upgrading, it is a downgrade along with unsettling UI inconsistencies where fonts & some icons are in steroids with depreciated visual hierarchies, 6 ghz was enabled in 2.6, here in the Philippines 6 ghz was adopted late last year, I don’t know why they have release international firmware that disables it, although they have not publicly acknowledge it on paper but app such as Device Info or other system profiling apps affirms that NP2 is 6E capable. now with NOS 3.0 it was disabled. maybe an intentional marketing obsolescence to pave way for the upcoming “3” models where they will launch publicly the wifi 7 & 6ghz capable, etc.
