      Remi F If this were the case (that 5G is the culprit), then stands to reason that even though there would be relatively little differences across brands, all would report heating with 5G by average. But, I suspect this is not the case. Case in point, I’ve been using 5G-enable phones for years, across different brands, mostly Samsung and iPhone, and not once I’ve had my units heating up because of 5G.

          PMar_P24 Yes I understand what you’re saying but not many people uses 5G even nowadays. And Samsung and Iphones are really well cooled down.

          Anyway, 5G is just 1 of many possibilities that your phone is eating up, I’m not saying that it’s 100% the root of your issue.

            I have heating issue in my nothing phone 2 just few days ago I have face my phone is going overheating and battery draining so fast and heating temperature is 47 C° and I have check my battery uses I have seen my cod mobile is used 57 % battery.then uninstall this game after few hours same issue phone is heating again and battery draining so fast then I see cred app used my battery 58% then uninstall this app now I used Myntra app phone is going heating then close this app phone is going cool.my first heating issue date is 6 March then second 7 March then same issue today 8 March 2024 please update and solv this heating issue.

            Am the only one who is facing the heating issue with Nothing 2.

            Or there is something I need to do. Also the battery also draining drastically.

            Haven’t touched my device for 2 hours but the battery drained from 90% to 65% .

            I experienced a similar heating issue today with my battery usage, where CRED consumed 49% despite a screen time of less than a minute. I typically use the CRED Pay widget on a day-to-day basis, but only for a short duration. I suspect it might be due to widgets from payment apps causing this problem.

            I’ve encountered heating issues multiple times with my Nothing Phone 2, causing from either the Paytm app or the Cred app. Could you please address this problem? Alternatively, does anyone have suggestions on how to prevent it?

            It’s been 8 months that I purchased NP2 and except camera i never had any issue.

            But After OS 2.5.2 Battery is draining rapidly. Earlier I used to charge my NP2 daily once. But after 2.5.2 i am charging it twice but still not getting enough Screentime.

            Apart from this I never had a heating issue in my NP1 and NP2.

            But from past 2days my NP2 is heating like anything.

            Any Solution or recommendations plzz…

                How should anybody help you with this issue?

                First you need to give some information about your case. When did you update? How long did you use it? What apps do you use? Which temperature reaches the device? Battery stats?

                  The January Security update screwed the device. Heating has been increased and bb also degraded. Earlier the i got upto 8 to 10hr sot but now I’m only getting 6~7hr.

                    I faced similar issue, which was caused by either the Paytm or Cred app. Force stopping them resolved the problem for me. Check which app is consuming the most battery and force stop it.
