SpeedMirage mirreshkumaran It seems beta users are facing this. I hope it goes away with the stable update.
VarunPandey I happened with me too, I have CMF 65w gan charger. I charge my Nothing phone 1 with it, If I charge from type c to type c cable it shows no response and if I charge from type A to type c cable my phone starts charging at very slow rate.
mirreshkumaran SpeedMirage I actually had this issue even before the update , the issue did not appear after the update for some time , the update log even mentioned fixed issues related to charging .
Anonymous729 RapidZapper no, it is a software bug, since the phone charges when switched off, only happened on NothingOS 3.0 beta
SpeedMirage Anonymous729 Phone charges when it’s switched on too sometimes. It’s completely random and I can’t predict precisely when it’s going to occur next. But this time I’ll take logs and send it to the nothing development team.
SpeedMirage Anonymous729 Well then. Best we can do is wait until the stable update. Do you know when it’s coming?
SpeedMirage Anonymous729 I want to return to 2.6 too but my phone is Indian variant and I don’t have an Indian sim card to activate it after a factory reset. All I can do is endure and pray they release it soon.
Anonymous729 SpeedMirage I had just bought the phone and updated it to 3.0, thought it was a defective piece and got a new phone and stayed at 2.6…. You’re better off charging at night, since it has a 100% success rate at charging when the phone is switched off….
SpeedMirage Anonymous729 Thanks for the suggestion, my man. I’ll just get logs once and then switch to charging at night.
GaganHR Uninstall the app which was asked to install to get the beta update. After uninstallation my problem is solved
MayankSharma_e2NCEdtB91 Did anything worked for you guys?? I’m facing it on 3.0 as well since 2 months and I’m so frustrated thay I smashed my pd charger on wall n broke it.. And without pd charger it chargers well but at slow sleed
SuryaShibu SpeedMirage I have the same issue where charging stops randomly. I’ve been using the genuine charger (CMF 33w) . I plug my phone in at night and only to realise in the morning that it’s only 43%. The FIX was; It gets fixed when I restart the phone. But not permanent. This is the only thing I hate about this phone and I’m pretty sure it’s not a charger issue.
