gagan010602 I would agree with you, that has been the case before as there were some incremental changes/patches with those updates, but since NOS 2 came, all changes after were based on the same OS version (Android 14) and it had the time to cover those incremental changes before the next OS version release, in this case 2.5 came about 4-6 months after the initial release of NOS 2.
Personally, I’m not sure NOS 3 will get the same treatment, purely because of the fact Android 16 will be available sooner then anticipated and I wouldn’t consider a major version change a patch (x.5) update. The OS should reflect the Android version in my opinion (NOS 4 based on Android 16, NOS 5 based on Android 17, etc.)
Maybe NOS 4 might just follow the same release window as it is currently and we may wait for a while for the update, and it can cover any patch updates like you mentioned (3.5 for example)
