That cannot be said for the 2a/2a plus who had their anticipated profits subsidizing the production of the CMF1.

I think you’re misunderstanding my simple and pedantic statement that the 2a/2a plus are not good value-for-money, while the CMF1 might be the best value-for-money currently on the market (169 GBP in UK and around 13500 INR in India for the 8/128 variant).
Edit: it seems that the 2a is now available for £237, so I need to adjust my statement as that is an excellent deal.
