I have one slights issue after the 3.0 beta and now 3.0 stable.

The screen need to be unlocked to get 30 W charging when I plug in the charger. If it’s locked the PPS doesn’t work and I’m capped at 12W. This was not the case with NOS 2.6.

Battery life is stellar for me and I have great 5G.

7h SOT bright me from 100% to 46%.

I usually get more than 10h SOT over 3 days with a full charge.

      All we can do is wait

      They do bimonthly updates so we should get one by the end of this month, you can’t blame them for prioritising their other devices

      They’re still a small group of people trying to cater to an international market

      titanOmega can you explain me what kind of bugs, I use my cmf phone for 12 to 16 hours a day haven’t face any kind of issue or bug yet,

          5. Lag in bgmi earlier it used to play 120fps very smoothly In NOS 2.6
          6. When u turn on the location the battery stats resets + it shows inaccurate data

              titanOmega beside touch issue, i didn’t faced any other issues mentioned in list, and it is even much less after 3.0 update, you should contact support team

                  KaranRathod_Hg7SkEY00V Already did and got there pre scripted record to reset the phone which ain’t gonna solve this… if u are not facing these issues good for u but many ppl are if u scroll up and see lots of similar comments are posted

                        After my update i faces video lag while watching in youtube also in facebook..

                        titanOmega they report it to software team, that way it can be fixed much earlier than posting hare, any way cmf will get update before 20th Feb, so don’t worry, and it will also feature circle to search, aod won’t be added

                              titanOmega NOS 3.1 is coming with the Phone 3(a) and it will likely then roll out to the other NOTHING phones including the CMF Phone 1.

                              We bought a budget phone and thus I expect support to be quite low, especially at a £169 price point.

                              I don’t really care that much about security updates lagging a month or two behind and they’re not critical when you don’t side-load APKs that often (the Play Store checks most of these things before making apps available).

                              NOTHING hasn’t released a profit-making phone in a while (the CMF Phone 1 couldn’t have made much profit) thus there hasn’t be much money sloshing around to pay developers to update NOS 3.0 stable before the NOS 3.1 rollout with the Phone 3(a).

                                  CMF1_hacker bro cmf phone one didn’t even got the hot fix update after the nothing os 3.0 so expecting it to be getting a 3.1 is a far away dream

                                  Here we have in India we have a very competitive market Players having almost all the Major smartphone companies competing with eachother very seriously be it software updates or competitive price point and cmf phone 1 and the phone 2a is the only two phones which has the highest selling ratio for nothing brand.

                                  Although I agree cmf 1 is absolutely bang for the buck but things will start falling apart if they don’t fix the bugs which ppl are facing after NOS 3.0 there are lot many ppl complaining abt it so they should take this seriously

                                      titanOmega I wonder how much is difference in firmware and effort paid to each market.

                                      I use the -EEA variant of the firmware and I assume you use the -IND variant.

                                      I have one single minor issue with charging after the NOS 3.0 stable update. With a third-party adapter, I get 28-30W charging if the screen is unlocked and only 12W charging if it is locked. Thus, it seems that PPS isn’t active on PPS-enable PD 3.0 chargers with the screen locked. I don’t get all of these other failures that people mention and my phone gets used heavily by my two children when I’m not using it. I’m getting more than 10h SOT going from 100% to 15% battery. I can see a phantom touch, but that’s due to the garbage by kids cram in between the phone and it’s case.

                                      THE FACTORY-INSTALLED SCREEN PROTECTOR IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE THO … however, this is a very inexpensive phone for the UK market, so I can kinda understand it. Cheaper than a Samsung A16 5G as an example.

                                      Another option is the final hardware used and where assembly occurs. From what I’ve read the IND market uses IND-specific hardware and assembly, which might cause some of the issues.

                                      There were also some NOS 2.6 updates that were -IND only and we didn’t get them in the EEA.

                                      I assume that NOTHING sells more high-end phones in the EEA market than the EEA market and might handle that hardware/updates better as the profit margin will be higher, but again, this is all speculation.

                                          CMF1_hacker tht would have been correct if the issue would have there from the beginning but things like slow charging, ui jitters, lag while customising quick settings, ghost touching is a wide spread issue started after 3.0 be it eu or ind users most of them are facing the issue, .. most likely are the bugs which ppl are facing soo software issue not the hardware

                                              I believe it’s a hardware issue, but I haven’t dismantled this CMF1. I broke my first one, tearing it apart, and have gone more gentle on this one.

                                              I am waiting for some more custom ROMs to come out before really playing on the software end.
