      Revanth_azD0TvpUnS I think it will be 8 gen 3. And honestly that’s enough , there’s no out of the world games out there. We saw how well they optimized the 8+ Gen 1 in Phone (2) , which by the way can handle warzone mobile easily and I have been playing since the game launched.

      So long things short , 8 gen 3 will be enough and hopefully the prices for them are cheaper

          Z_Aid Great analysis. I have basically the same thoughts. At first I was a bit bummed that it’s 3a, but thinking about it more carefully, it makes sense.

          They’ll be able to test the capabilities of the telephoto lens on the 3a and refine it for the flagship 3. Also, the price range of the (a) series allowed them to gather a wider user base (a lot of people bought Phone(2a), specially in India). This provides Nothing with a lot of data and feedback.

          Moreover, they released 2a last year around march, if I remember correctly, so it’s consistent with the timeline of their releases.

          Regarding the software, while I do think that Phone(3) might come with a major update (i.e. NOS 3.5), I still don’t think that the great AI capabilities are going to be there. Other big brands such as Samsung and Apple are struggling with their AI implementations at the moment, so I guess that Nothing would take a bit more time to have everything completely refined and keep their status of having a polished smooth software experience.

          I think that maybe when Carl teased about an AI OS and AI capabilities it was more about the vision for the future of the company, than an announcement of upcoming releases. We have to keep in mind that in business matters, companies plan years ahead, so I would not take the CEO’s words so literal.

          Anyways, let’s see what the 3a series brings us and hope that Phone (3) exceeds all expectations

          VijaysekarJ If I’m not mistaken, Apple holds the patent on magsafe in phone devices. Otherwise, we would’ve already seen magsafe implementations in other brands like Samsung. It is however possible to buy a Magsafe case for any device, which from a practical perspective would be almost the same.

              I agree with Nothing sticking with their trend for launch/release date for Phone 3. We just have to be patient. Phone (3a) is going to be a slam dunk!

                      YafeyYamin yes. Check the official Android website. That’s why pixels launched earlier this year in August. Next pixels will ship with android 16 out of the box
