Guys, i have one strange problem. Yesterday the update pop up and its been in updater ready to intall. I don’t have time to install the update because i have some obligations, and say i will install it just tomorrow morning. When i check today, update is gone, completely erased from updater. I check security patch and its still on December 2024. So its doesn’t install automatically. What can cause this problem?

Stefan I think many users are facing automatic restart problems and some other issue so nothing might have stopped further release btw what is your current built no?

Its my mobile problem or all nothing phone 1 user problem please tell me..

        Hello All,

I have been using Wi-Fi hotspot all along and has been very useful for me. I work using my hotspot outside my home.

I updated the phone to Nothing OS 3.0 and the latest as well ( build number: Spacewar-V3.0-250218-1552-EEA). Since the first update to Nothing OS 3.0, the Wi-Fi hotspot is not working.
        What I mean is:
I toggle on the Wi-Fi hotspot, it is showing as “ON” on the mobile device. However, it is not showing up in the Available Networks, neither in my Windows 11 Lenovo laptop nor in Macbook M1 Max.

        What I tried:
Restarted phone multiple times - did not help
I removed the network name from known networks in both laptops - did not help
I renamed the SSID and still is not showing up in the networks.
I tried using the “Join Network” - it says Network with that SSID is not found.
I tried resetting network, bluetooth options on the mobile device and gave a new SSID and tried - still not showing up.

Is anybody facing the same issue?
        Did anybody have a solution?

I cannot afford to reset my phone entirely. I have couple of apps using secure tokens and cannot lose them at this time.

        Regards and TIA.

@SamarthNP1 - Thank you. It helps.
So, it looks like the latest update introduced a bug with 5.0 GHz connection.

Merged 5 posts from Nothing Phone 1 + updated to Nothing OS 3.0 + Wi-Fi Hotspot not working.

PinoLY Thanks for sharing. Not sure what is causing this issue on my phone.
Please do not suggest to reset the phone to factory settings, I cannot do it at this time.

android_user Sorry but I don’t have a solution to your issue, I just wanted to let you know that it’s not a issue of last update.
