Your only option currently is to enable double line clock. When there are no lockscreen widgets or notifications, it will appear as below.

Please can I just get rid of the dotted clock, I like stock android look so why would you force this? It makes no sense this is not an iOs or nOs this is android.

Is there a way to change the lock screen clock color to black? The white one does not go with my wallpaper.
