Issues about patch update march.
1st, unusual battery draining even if locked screen, I’m not using my phone but the amount of drain is unusual it’s not the same as before. 2nd, no haptics on finger print when you unlock it. 3rd, when you both turned on the flash light and glyph light and turning off the flashlight the glyph light will turned off too at the same time.
Please fix this as soon as possible.
Lin_ GG because it is perfect to me
1gkds1 same here. just updated today… no confirm for power off… it just powers off.
Asy1bek47 not working for me, seems like broken, though settings are enabled it’s not working.
SaurabhSharma_0sPE3oyGLU I had a new update (this update) about 1-2 hours ago. And after installing this function appeared and it works.
What about notifications when the phone is locked? Any updates?
Flanagan check if you have this setting enabled in Settings > System > Developer options
@“MAFCARVALHO”#P153196 does not reach any notification having the mobile blocked?
NothingSpain I asked you to check that option to try to fix your problem with notifications. Have you got the last update and installed it?
@“Mafcarvalho”#P153203 I have no problem, it’s flanagan
NothingSpain me neither. I have no issue at all. I was trying to help @Flanagan but it seems he has done something weird on his phone. I can only recommend doing another factory reset after getting the latest update.
mafcarvalho I have this enabled. I’ve never changed anything; it just happened when I updated to 3.0 in December. Today I installed the new update but everything is still the same
Flanagan I just looked at your configurations and I suggest that you disable the last two on that screenshot.
Also after having updated to the latest Nothing OS 3.0 I really recommend you do a new factory reset. When you’re done Install your apps with patience and run them for the first time, pay attention to the permissions asked for each app and don’t deny anything from the start. I’m pretty sure that you’re going to get all notifications with your phone locked, as long as you have stable Internet connections (WiFi and mobile). I am attaching my 5G connection’s settings which work very well. Good luck!
mafcarvalho Thank you so much for trying to help me. I already did a factory reset a month ago because it was one of the options the Nothing people told me about, but it didn’t solve the problem. For example, with applications like WhatsApp and Outlook it usually works correctly, but with most it doesn’t.
I have also detected that at times like when I am charging it at night, all the notifications work correctly and even if, for example, Google Maps is running but with the mobile phone is blocked. It’s something very rare
Flanagan no problem! I know you already did a factory reset but I insist you do it again, now that your phone got a new software update. I know it’s a “pain in the ass” to setup everything again but trust me, if things were already behaving in a strange way before the update, they will be harder to fix now.
I had a problem with the “smart charging mode”, spent two weeks trading emails with Nothing support (they were impeccable), testing changing dozens of things including charger and cable, etc. Only after I did a second factory reset which I was almost sure that it wouldn’t work, took time to setup each app with patience and didn’t mess with any permissions, then my problem was fixed.
I don’t know if you use any apps outside of the Play Store like direct downloads or just uncertified apps. If you want to share the name of the apps that are giving you trouble I can try to help you further. No promises but I will try to help you to the best of my ability.
Um abraço de Portugal
