I would like to choose several wallpapers for the homescreen and lock screen that change after a selectable time.

If Nothing replaces the “Screenshot” button with “Clear All” in the recent apps tab, it would be much better. Right now, I have to swipe all the way to the end just to press “Clear All.”

Add options when turn on focus mode like normal focus focus mode or restricted focus mode

Atleast 4 apps can access while on restricted focus mode🙏

Hey Nothing Team & Community,

I love the clean and minimal approach of Nothing OS, but one small yet essential feature is missing—the ability to double-tap on the lock screen to lock the phone.

This is a basic and highly convenient feature found in many Android skins, and it would enhance the user experience significantly. Instead of pressing the power button every time, a simple double-tap would make locking the phone feel more seamless and intuitive.

It’s a small change but would make a big difference! Hope the team considers adding this in a future update.

What do you all think? Would you find this useful? Let’s get this feature noticed! 🚀🔥

@Avidx Focus Mode is already a setting in Settings > Digital Wellbeing > Focus Mode.

This allows you to select apps to notify you and the rest of the noise is cancelled out whilst active. Can also be set-up with a schedule.

I also find Flip to Glyph is a great use of Focussing when I need to. Only picking up my device when the Essential Glyph is lit.

However, if you have any further improvements, such as a work mode, or a more restrictive mode. Suggest them via your Nothing device, via Settings > Tips & Feedback > Feedback.

romano Sometimes when there is a notification and I read it from the lockscreen, I just wan to turn off my screen with a double tap as it’s laying on a table.

Hoping they can add it too in lockscreen and also change single tap to double tap to show lockscreen.

Avnish âś… Pitch black dark mode is CRAP and there are many reasons why companies do not want use it:

    - more screen burning

    - more smearing while scrolling

    - not good for eyes

    - no benefit for battery life, it wont give you even 1% more SoT - tested by xda devs

Nothing OS provides a clean and fluid experience, but there are a few areas that could be improved. I have noticed two issues that, if addressed, could enhance user security:

    1. Phone Off Verification: Nothing OS includes a useful feature that requires entering the lock screen password before switching off the phone. However, this only works when the phone is locked. If someone is actively using the phone and it gets snatched while unlocked, the thief can easily power it off without any restrictions, making it harder to track.

Suggestion: The phone should always require password verification before powering off, regardless of whether it is locked or unlocked. This would enhance security, especially in theft scenarios.

    2. App Lock and Lock Screen Password Are the Same: In Nothing OS, the same password is used for both app lock and lock screen. Sometimes, we might have to share our lock screen password with someone, which raises a security concern as they can also access our locked apps.

Suggestion: Other brands like Realme, Redmi, and Vivo provide separate passwords for the lock screen and app lock. Nothing OS should also implement this feature to strengthen privacy and security.

    Dear Nothing Team,

I appreciate the continuous improvements to our devices and would love to see the following features considered in future updates:

    1. Bluetooth Auracast – Support for broadcasting audio to multiple compatible devices.

    2. Maintenance Mode – A secure mode to protect data while giving the phone for repairs.

    3. Scheduled Power On/Off – Option to automatically turn the device on/off at set times.

    4. Software-based SIM Lock – A latch-like system to prevent unauthorized SIM removal.

    5. Biometric Authentication for Critical Settings – Extra security for sensitive system settings.

    6. Self-reset on Tamper Detection – Auto-reset if unauthorized attempts to access the phone are detected.

    7. Hotspot Customization – More control over hotspot settings like bandwidth limits and device restrictions.

    8. Volume Long-Press to Skip Tracks – Option to change tracks by holding the volume buttons.

    9. Lock Screen Widgets – Quick access to lock/unlock features from the home or lock screen.

    10. Floating Ball for Quick Recording – A floating shortcut to start audio/video recording instantly.

    11. Improvements to Nothing Apps & Nothing Connect – Enhancements to Nothing’s ecosystem apps for a smoother experience.

    12. PitchBlack UI Mode – True black mode for better contrast and power saving on OLED displays.

    13. Camera Improvements – Better image processing, low-light performance, and overall optimizations.

These features would enhance the user experience, and I hope they can be considered for future updates.
