Now I am having 2a. Itās really cool and well optimized. I also have an old friend, OnePlus 5. I really like Reading Mode feature from it. The battery will be more efficient if 2a gets this with upcoming updates. Thanks

Hey Nothing team!
Love the Phone (2a) so far, but Iām missing one small but handy feature from iOS: **automatically switching wallpapers when toggling between light/dark mode**. Right now, dynamic wallpapers only adjust slightly, but itād be awesome if we could set *two separate wallpapers* that change with the theme.
**Bonus suggestion:** It would be even cooler if this update came with **new exclusive wallpapers** designed specifically for light/dark mode switching! Nothingās design team always nails the aesthetics, so more wallpapers would be a welcome addition.
This would add extra polish to the software and make customization even smoother. Any chance this could be added in a future update?
Thanks for considering!
SumitMaithani Hey there, the features you mentioned are already on the nothing phones(I have NOTHING 3a) like the floating window and the split screen, tho the smart slide bar you mentioned is not ther
the option to have multiple saved lockscreens+homescreens and getting to quickly change with them. i think thatd work really well with the current version of nothing is and thats a feature that ive always liked about the newer ios versions
TlDr: keep existing essential glyphs under āsimpleā settings and make an āadvancedā menu, like nothing X app, allowing us to set specific segments to light up, brightness or if the light is to blink in some ways, for different notifications, people or apps.
Hi Carl.
Love the essential glyph feature. I often have my phone silent, or miss the actual notification, for example when its on a table screen down. It really helps me to see if i have new important messages.
But, i never know what kind.
My suggestion? Im sure a lot of people asked this. I know it might take *some* work to put into nothing os but it shouldnāt be something you guys canāt handle.
Make it possible to, like the ringtone with sounds, allocate different glyphs to different apps, contacts or categories of notification.
Like have the punchhole glyph only light up for a specific person, the camera glyph to social media apps, charger glyph for system, etc..
And it would also be nice to add Brightness control to the individual apps.
And, a more complicated feature, but you could make an option to pulse, blink or show different patterns with the light, to make the most important notifications extra apparent.
it might make the essential glyph menu too complicated or discouraging. But then, you could make it like the equalizer on the nothing ears. Add a slider to the top, keep the existing menu as a āsimpleā tab, and make an āadvancedā tab, following my idea of essential glyphs, so we could control the brightness and specific lights for specific notifications. It would add a giant feature to the glyph lights, make them much more appealing, useful, and overall worth it.
If thereās a good reason, like battery saving or hardware limitation, why you canāt possibly do it, im sorry. Otherwise please try. I think a lot of people would appreciate it.
I think you understand what i had in mind. Pretty please?
Thanks, nothing team!
my only wishlist on nothing OS is they unlock the high frame rate gaming on all supported games, nothing more
Hey, Iāve been thinking about a floating call widgetālike how Google Meet has that floating bubble when you leave the app. Iām always on calls, and when I switch to Instagram or any other app, I have to return to the call screen just to unmute and speak. If there was a floating widget with basic features like āUnmuteā and āRecordā, it would be super helpful.
Harry_275 split screen is not working and i searched for it in settings, I canāt find it, is there another way to hse split screen instead of swiping three fingers from bottom
1. Silent notifications: A small blinking light on the top of the screen (or customizable location) with color options depending on the type of notification or app.
2. Location-based notifications in Essential: If I take a screenshot of Google Maps or anything with an address, Essential would recognize it and remind me to do a related task I set up.
3. Voice memos in Essential Space (without screenshots): One quick tap, then a long press starts a voice recorder to quickly take a note.
4. Routines (like Samsungās): Many people use this featureāincluding meāand having it in Essential Space would be super useful.
Thatās it from me. Let me know what you think!
Dear team
please add a password to turn on/off aeroplane mode from lock screen ,please keep it as an option atleast ā¦
Iād like a better widget for my Phillips Hue lights, like the Nothing theme or a little on/off light switch looking thing. Anyone know if this exists? Or is anyone working on something like this?
I am agree with you but I believe more customisation more battery consuming I will prefer give the option of lock screen customisation font colour and always depth wallpaper and please give more colour option in the ui and more fonts
PLEASE I BEG, make the Nothing phones compatible in the USA, wireless carriers such as AT&T, Cricket and Verizon, will not permit me to use the phone ToT
