PulkitGhorse absolutely, great recommendations which if implemented would just level up the overall experience of NOS.
Nothing OS Wishlist Megathread | Session 2025
Spike I really like Nothing OS 3.0, but I wish there was one more feature. I wish there was a native automation feature like Samsung Routines. I usually used location-based automation for home - work - driving - work, but Nothing OS doesn’t have this feature, which is a bit disappointing. Do you think this feature will be added someday?
Disable quick settings pulldown when screen is locked.
Add auto brightness toggle in quick settings.
Hello Nothing
Requesting Sidebar feature in the next update for quick app access in pop up window. We can do the same now but we need to exit from the current app to do so. So I am requesting you to introduce side bar feature like in realme x7 pro 5g.
I’d love to have the homescreen wallpaper change by selecting which wallpaper i want to choose for the day between the selected wallpaper just like iphone , and I am very greatful that I made a decision to buy a nothing phone it’s great!!!
PulkitGhorse Nice work summarising most of the issue.
A flagship level device shouldn’t be lagging in normal tasks at least and LTPO display why stick to 60hz when video calling. It feels so much laggy and budget device at that time.
* Camera App: I’d love the ability to record directly to an external hard drive from the default camera app without needing a separate pro app.
thampi_ns Hey
You can already disable Quick Settings on Lockscreen in Settings->Lock Screen-> Quick Settings toggle
RapidZapper thank you for your reply
Maybe creating health app for nothing app for running, blood pressure, blood glucose for people with diabetes like me. 3 party connections with libre of other apps. And connections with the cmf watch
- Add the ability to customize the brightness panel: the ability to add a vertical or horizontal option to the quick settings panel.
- Add an analog of a dynamic island.
- Add the settings item for the quick settings panel, which shows the name of the item with the minimum icon size.
- Add the ability and animation of stretching (as in iOS 18) when changing the icon size in the quick settings panel.
Enhancing the app launch animations on the Nothing Phone 1 can significantly elevate the overall user experience, aligning with the clean and fluid design philosophy of Nothing OS. Currently, while the interface feels smooth, the app opening transitions could benefit from further optimization to make them more seamless and responsive. Faster and more polished animations would not only improve the perception of speed but also enhance day-to-day interactions with the device. Such an update would demonstrate a commitment to refining user-centric details, ensuring the Nothing Phone 1 remains a standout choice in its category.

Extended widget area improvements
As you see in the picture there is double date and clocks in the lockscreen. We need an option to hide the clock and date what comes after the extended area is on.
Why?
Well what is the point of having double time in the lockscreen? The extended widgets feature becomes almost useless now.

Flip to glyph quick setting for easier access when you want to concentrate.
Why?
I use flip to glyph everyday, and I dont like navigating trough the settings menu all the time. This would bring Nothing’s idea even further, having things on the homescreen without being in the settings. Feels just so much better when you can enable it easier and saving time. Only feature I feel like is a must-have.

Smaller widget size for the Countdown Widget.
Could be a line what shows how many there is left. After you scroll down, it would show same information as in the full sized widget.
Why?
Simply, saving the space of 4 grid homescreen.
There was the ideas!
Thank you.
With the OS 3.0 update, the notification vibration pattern changed from a series of two short buzzes to two rather long buzzes.
Personally, I found the previous pattern more intuitive and less disruptive, and there is no option to change the pattern. Has anybody else noticed this/found any solutions?
Please consider adding an option to change the notification vibration pattern.
