Nothing OS Wishlist Megathread | Session 2025

It’d be great if the home screen widgets/apps have a transparency setting such that you can tweak with it for better visibility of the wallpaper. Not always cool when the wallpaper is blocked by the solid tiles. If any such setting exist, I’d be glad if someone enlightens me.

Transparent lockscreen widgets (and options for transparent icons in general). I’ve taken a sick new picture for my lock screen and it’s hidden behind the opaque widgets and notification bars. Please let me know if there’s an option to do this already!

I’d like to see the real black theme of NOS, like 1+ Oxygen OS has. Not the dark grey or dark blue - really black switched off leds.

It was a great concept which feels Premium to use like iMessage. So everyone will love to use this app !

Please provide a home-only mode in the stock Nothing OS launcher. No menu just a home screen with apps.

Phone Security

Same as location, access to turnoff the internet/mobile data / wifi should be disabled from lock screen.

Scenario : I lost my mobile in a party, so I tried to locate the device using find my device, but the person who took my mobile and turned off the internet and from the lockscreen. Decreased the volume also. Finally got caught at security check.

So turning off the internet and decreasing volume from lockscreen should be disabled. This give the best secure feeling to the owner of the device.

By providing this option we can give a better secure feeling to owner in security aspects.

Wireless charging

Every user wants to charge their mobile as quick as possible. Why do people use 15W wireless charging when we have 45W rapid charging.

So I don’t feel wirless charging is not the best or most used or requested option. Removing this leads to reduce product price and the weight and thickness of the device.

Ear1

Ear1 touch slide to increase or decrease volume feature is the best option than pinch option in ear2. Touch is easy to use than pinch.

Glyph to be synced to Swiggy also

Last but not least, please suggest to remove the horizontal navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

Smartwatch

Instead of working on fitness bands, please create useful real smartwatch like Samsung galaxy watch 4 with very less options but seamless user experience.

If we can give the best we can compete with the best (Apple)

These are just a few I have in my mind.

I really like my Nothing Phone (2) and like the analogue oval clock widget on the lock screen.

I have other Android devices which I would reslly like to have the Nothing Oval Clock widget on, is there a apk widget pack that I can get, so I can then install the analogue oval clock on these other devices?

Will the Nothing OS 3.0 Widget pack be made available at some point through the Google play store?

I have been a dark mode user since the beginning of time! But I have been drawn in to use the scheduled light mode on my phone 2 because the nOS 3.0 is just absolutely brilliant in light mode! But now, I need to manually adjust my wallpaper according to the modes (which is getting tiring now) I love the stock nothing wallpapers and I use them for about half a week. Love the roses. So then I set the light wallpaper when I wake up and then the dark one when the sun sets. (Same with my custom wallpapers)

Wouldn’t it be nice for the stock one to be adaptive on their own while you can customise your own ones too?

So when the sun sets and rises the scheduled light mode begins and wallpaper changes too!

I hope y’all take this into consideration! Such a gorgeous os should be enjoyed in both modes, I think!

My Mi 10 Youth Edition has this with Matterhorn that would much the sun/weather conditions there.
