Hey, which city did you register for? Because the answer I received from the support team was completely different (for Frankfurt in Germany) and I quote:

Regarding the community event on July 12th in Frankfurt, being invited to the event does not automatically guarantee the ability to purchase the Nothing Phone 3 at the store on that day. The invitation is primarily for attending the event and participating in the activities planned.

As for the “winners,” there is a separate selection process. Those who are invited to the event are not necessarily the same as the winners who will have the exclusive opportunity to buy the phone at the store. The winners are chosen through a different batch or contest, and they will be notified separately.

Did anyone here actually “win” a spot to buy the phone at the Frankfurt location?

Yes, this is an invitation for you to come and join to celebrate the launch of the Nothing Phone (3). Please know you can benefit from cancellations by other first edition winners and still secure a device. The non-winners may have a chance to buy, but it is ‘while stock lasts.’

Same response from support for the Paris event. It’s a shame the community present here wasn’t given a special opportunity. Support offered to let me come in case there were any unsold items. I live 500 kilometers from Paris, and I’m not going to make the trip if I’m not sure I’ll be able to get the phone 3.

Hi! Quick question regarding the Swedish launch event: I have received two emails, one confirming that I get to purchase the first edition version of the phone and one saying I missed out on that opportunity. Is there any information as to which I should listen to? I want to know if I should even be planning on attending the event or not.

MatttheModest first mail is your invite to buy the phone, the second is the general one sent to those who have been selected to participate at the community event.

Hey Guys,

I havent visited the Community for some time and wasnt aware of the RSVP-Deadlines for the launchevents of the phone 3 and headphones 1 closing in June 20.

Does it mean that you cant go to a Launch Event without receiving an invite or is it meant as some kind of VIP Ticket for the events?

I would love to go to Frankfurt to get the Phone 3, but yeah, I missed the registration 🙁

Rob ⚡️ I’m just discovering that. Didn’t ordered mine because on the website they said there is a drop in Paris. But it’s not clear? Do I need an invitation to go there? Did I booked non refundable train tickets for nothing? 🥲

The event require an invitation to buy the phone and an invite to participate to the Community event.
