I had the status bar burned in and also when I was messing for a while with the glyph composer I noticed that also burned into the screen but went away obvs image retention but the status bar and the finger print sensor was burned in

kyl3 same , I also have the status bar burned in my nothing phone 2a. And its been only ike 3-4 months. Can any one help me to know that does it get covered in warranty? I’m 16 years old and it’s my first phone so I’m a little disappointed.

kyl3 I bouht It in FNAC store but They don’t care about my problem, and they don’t give me a solution. Nothing’s technical support simply tells me that it is normal, that they are sorry that I do not like their product and that they will take my comments into account for future improvements. It’s unfortunate that they don’t provide a solution.

You have 30 days to return for whatever reason atall even if you dont like the how the glass feels they can’t refuse you if paid with your credit card then raise a charge back

Not sure where you are but most countries have this policy for any retailer maybe only 14 days but if your within that time I’d return it

Daniel so does Nothing accept using cheap screen for such a premium price????? Because i haven’t seen it in samsung phones nor iphone your biggest so called competitor ??? Frankly speaking screen is the most important part of a phone and when you choose such quality of screen it actually represent your brand.

Daniel yes definately it bothers me, everyday in every normal use case whenever i unlock my device i can see those burn, even if it won’t bother you it definitely shows the quality of your screen, and it should definitely bother the NOTHING team if it’s not bothering you.

I do have screen burn in within a month of buying a new Nothing Phone 2 it was worst experience by choosing nothing over oneplus for me because they have actually used very cheap screen especially in India.

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz are they made in India for India sales or are they made in Shenzhen China? It would be odd for a startup to have two different manufacturers.

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz I’ve been using Phone (1) for 1.5 years and Phone (2) for 5 months and I’ve never experienced this so your argument on the quality of the panel is invalid. If you are having display issues then contact support here.

Daniel my argument isn’t the only one in the community section go ahead and check others there are more than hundreds of people complaining about the screen and this is reflecting the quality of the screen being used for NP2 specially for Indian version.

Support simply accept this problem as a unique feature of Nothing phone 2 and praises us to see this special pattern on your screen until you leave NOTHING.

See I said that from start cheap crappy screen to cut costs lol big flop the phone 2 imo was going well to begin with

There is a big problem with the screen of the Nothing Phone 2. If you do not want to see the burn spots on the screen you will have to always have the brightness at 100There is a big problem with the screen of the Nothing Phone 2. Another big problem is that if you want the phone to shine at its maximum, you have to set it to adaptive brightness since if you set it manually to 100% it won’t really give you all the brightness you need outdoors.

You can test It with a lamp at home , máximum manually VS máximum adaptative brightness
