Instagram red heart emoji shows black/white - help

Hi, I’m facing a strange issue on my Nothing Phone 2a (Nothing OS 2.5, Android 14). When I react with the ❤️ red heart emoji in Instagram DMs: In the main app, it shows 🖤 black In Instagram Lite, it shows 🤍 white But the other person sees ❤️ red as expected I’ve tried clearing cache/data, reinstalling the app, and even factory resetting the phone — no luck. Logged into the same account on other phones, and it works fine there. Seems like a rendering bug specific to this device. If I remember correctly, this bug is caused by using the Inter font. If you look closely, the 5G and 4G symbols haven’t been updated to accommodate for it either.

Hritabrat I’m also facing this bug but I don’t know it’s a bug or default icon. It’s only in Nothing phone 2a users

I have had Phone 3a Pro since may, I am also facing this problem. But I don’t mind it that much right now.

Hritabrat The best way to get this on the team’s radar is by submitting reports using settings -> system -> feedback.

i used to have this issue but it was fixed by the team, let me check but it’s probably coming in a future update, depending on which device you have.
