The cow how do you update to android 14 (I’m assuming you need android 14 for the nothing os update) this is what mine show

    TejachandraBingi automatically, OTA. Checked every day like most people here. And after Christmas around the 26th Dec after rebooting the phone, the notification came. That’s it. The only thing I noticed (tested) is the music visualization don’t match with the songs. Before it was better. But since I don’t use it… otherwise until now, didn’t see any problems at all. I can make some test if you like. Maybe the phone is from another production line? I bought mine end of November 2023.

        The cow 2.5.1 doesn’t have any issue (not sure if glyphs light considers an issue or not) but when updated to 2.5.1.A (I called it hotfix), every time I want to access quick tiles, it lags/delays a little bit and the Spotify app crashes.

        I’m too lazy to do the factory reset and looks like it is the only way to fix it. 😂

        2.0.4 (with factory reset) no issues, Open Beta 2 (with factory reset) no issues, from Open Beta 2 to 2.5.1 (with factory reset) no issues and play roll back zip (even already wiped data, but I did again factory reset) no issues.

        What a unique problem. Hahahaha

        Note: I will update here after did the factory reset because waiting weekend to do it.

            AmirHussaini I have no delays or something with the tiles, and use them daily. Also Spotify I use daily. Have no problem whatsoever. The Spotify notification widget and the new nothing widget for media works fine. So I would suggest a factory reset. As sad as it is.

                The cow I’m using both, Spotify and Apple Music. So, in this situation, I have backup music streaming, Apple Music. Hahahaha

                Regarding the Spotify app, I’m using the Beta app and am not sure if the app problem or 2.5.1.A problem because no issue on 2.5.1. Haishh.

                If frequently need to do a factory reset after the update, kinda annoying and upset. 😂

                Updated: I found the culprit of my issues and is not because of Nothing OS 2.5.1.A problem. My Spotify app crashed because I’m using version 8.9.2.169 (Beta) and I’ve just finished a factory reset. 😂

                Now I need to install everything, again and again. 🤣

                  The cow I don’t think it’s a problem with your phone, I have seen a lot users in Telegram and in Nothing community, complaining about Music visualization, unless and until it is enabled officially in settings, I don’t care about that feature, anyway thanks for the reply 👍

                    Another question to everyone. I was using before a Xiaomi Mi Phone and a Asus phone. Both had a tool for floating windows. In Xiaomi it was called video toolbox (with the new version the name was another one). On Asus was the Edge tool. Means when I was in a app (let’s say YouTube) and i got a notification (Gmail, Whatsapp) I could open directly the app in a floating window. Also when looking on YouTube or Netflix, I could just slide from the edge and open another app as floating overlay. I really miss those kind of features. Does anyone now’s how to install those app? Maybe there is a port or something? Could someone recommend an official app for this? I know that android 14/nothing OS has floating windows. but you need first to close the app you are using, open that specific app as floating window, and then continue with the other app. would be nice to have some kind of edge tool sliding from the side to pick any kind of app as floating window. Thanks in advanced for recommendations.

                      BurpSuite Yes normal because you’re using 65W while stock Nothing charger is 45W. As a result, it transforms AC power from your plug into DC power for your phone while producing heat in the process. (sample applied with 45W also)

                      If your phone becomes too hot to the touch or handle, it’s a strong indication that something is wrong lah.
