Does anyone previously facing wifi issues in 2.0.4 facing after the update? Wifi is connected but not working at all, no messages no webpages loading?

    TejasMaisuriya While I understand your excitement as this is a huge update, I didn’t get the update yet as well, It’s unnecessary to reply/tag us on a daily basis, it won’t make the update come any faster. If you look on the update release history it’s not much different, it has always been released this way, in a gradual way, and sometimes it helped catching bugs and issues that otherwise would have been rolled out to many many more users. Just please be patient and when it will arrive it will be all worth it.

        SahilIyer Yes, very annoying. asked Nothing about it, they said would look into it weeks ago.
        Also told me to turn airplane mode on and off and then try again. It kind of works for a little bit

            Patience,my last update 2.0.4 i get like 3 weeks later then others sooo….just wait i think every body get update like in first half of January.

            Kindly try these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

            If your Phone2 cannot detect the 2.5.1 OTA update or the update fails, you can try the following steps:

            1. Check your internet connection: Make sure your phone is connected to a stable and reliable Wi-Fi network. A poor or unstable internet connection can cause issues with downloading updates.

            2. Restart your phone: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary software glitches. Restart your Phone2 and check if it can detect the OTA update afterward.

            3. Updates manually: If your phone fails to detect the OTA update automatically, you can try for updates manually. Before manually updating, make sure to backup your data first.

            Below are the steps you can follow for updates manually：

            1. Download the latest software update package.

            2. Create a folder named "“ota”" in your device’s internal storage directory.

            3. Copy the package to the "“ota”"folder.

            4. Go to your phone’s dial screen and enter the following code: *#*#682#*#*

            5. The local update tool will now open. In the drop-down list that appears, select the upgrade package you just copied.

            * The drop-down list will display all files in the "“ota”“ folder - you can update the list by tapping the ”“RELOAD”"button.

            * If the upgrade package does not appear in the drop-down list, tap the "“Browse”“ button to select the ”“ota”"folder and then select the upgrade package.

            * Please make sure you have prepared the correct upgrade package for your device. If the upgrade package is wrong, it will show an error prompt "“Verify metadata file status”".

            6. Tap the "“Directly apply OTA from selection”" button to start updating.

            * Please do not remove the app from the background during the update as this may cause issues with the updating process. It is recommended that you keep the local update tool until the process is completed. This will help ensure a smooth and successful update process.

            7. Reboot your device

            After the upgrade process is complete, a pop-up will appear asking if you would like to reboot your device. We strongly recommend selecting "“Confirm”""" here, as upgrades require a reboot to enter the new version.

            8. Upgrade successfully.

                Thanks for this, works a treat. Now in 2.5.1 within 10 mins. it’s been hard work following this thread for the last week. Only about 20 or 30 posts are useful, the rest are just like spoilt kids whining at their parents for a new toy. I suggest anyone who can’t wait until it shows up in your phone via OTA update (you really don’t need to check every 5 mins- you are wasting your life) to use this process. I’d highly doubt there will be further OTAs until the new year, it’s just not good practice to be rolling out such things at this time of year, especially with limited resource in people and prob infrastructure.

                At the end of the day you won’t see much difference it’s not going to transform your phone.

                  I don’t think this ‘byzGLG’ is a legit Nothing Customer Care/Executive, coz all the pointers are right there! This guy joined just 5 days ago, doesn’t have any official tag, and you can see his/her previous comments which look kinda skeptical.

                  This resembles a lot to a phising email 😬

                  And coming to the point, I think update will be here very soon. Things are being ironed out. Even though they could have handled it better, but I still believe and trust in Nothing! 🤞
