Support told me that they did not have a solution and that they were working to resolve this problem in a future version of the OS.Samsung had the same problem at one point and fixed it

My phone 2, which I bought one year ago, automatically goes into crash dump mode 5-7 times a day. I am using OS version 2.5.6, updated last month in June. Does anyone know the solution? Please share your thoughts. Really disappointment.

If nothing not fix this in a few month, maybe I should move to Oneplus back. 🫣

Seems still no fix for this issue. Still happening almost every day. Phone will crash, no reset reason, and will not reboot automatically.

With Nothing OS 2.6, I don’t see anything addressing this issue, so probably will still continue to crash.

Support doesn’t seem to be able to help with anything. They don’t even know the reason it is happening.

    Edit: 2 hours later

Not 2 hours after I updated to NOS 2.6, it crashed.

    Minidump with no reset reason…………..

    😞😥😠🤬

I’m facing the same or a similar issue for almost over a year now. It appears only to happen when the phone is actively used (unlocked).

Entering CrashDump Mode reset_reason: Panicking, remoteproce: 400000.remoteproc-mss crashed.

Had very intensive contact with support - had to send my phone to a repair center multiple times - having my firmware reset - having the motherboard replaced and eventually having the whole phone replaced. On the replacement phone I’m still experiencing the same issues. Makes it either an issue that is not device-specific but Phone 2 specific - or a software issue.

Saving crash dumps and bug reports and going through all of that does not show any reason for panicking - other than ‘remoteproc 400000.remoteproc-mss crashed’ - which tells me nothing.

After all of this I’m considering changing to a different brand as this phone appears not as reliable as I want it to be.

Apart from going to the service center, is there any solution for a crash dump? I’ve tried all the usual fixes but the problem keeps coming back.

Charan_DSCR Don’t go to the service center, it seems common problem for now. Refer the reply above you. I also experienced in my phone 2, however for me so far it happens rarely. I’m heavy user as well, I do gaming.

Hello I bought a nothing phone 2 in october. In 2 months time I had to factory restore the device because of loop crash dump mode. I have randoms freeze ups and then device goes in crash dump mode. I have updated to 3.0 beta but still the crash dump mode pops up randomly. Why are they not fixing this problem? I see that the problem is almost a year old. Sometimes it works 3 days and then suddenly it goes in crash dump mode and then restarts.

Michael_ovSnVPPbe9 Hi..I would suggest you to visit nearest service centre for the resolution.

Crash dump issue might be due to hardware failure. It is not always related to software issues.

White using my Phone 2, phone suddenly stucked and switched off. A message appears like Nothing Crash Dump Mode. After some seconds phone restarted and came to normal. Is this an issue or whatt? Did anyone experienced this ? I’ve attached an image taken from Google

JefRoftin This happened once with me too. But there’s nothing to worry about. The crash dump mode is actually a safety feature that initiates by itself when the system thinks that there’s a critical issue so as to prevent further damage to the phone as well as the data on the phone. It should have created a dump file somewhere (I don’t know where it gets saved) that can be used to analyse what was the issue. However, if it keeps on happening repeatedly then there must be some problem with your phone and you should visit a service centre to have it checked.

This happened to me just now too. Tried to reset it (held power button down) and got a screen saying ‘No command’ with the android symbol. It seems fine now though.
