Both of you you need to ask yourself: Why did you choose a Nothing phone?
Other brands—like Xiaomi, Vivo, and OPPO—offer you all that deep customization and a flashier UI, often for less money than what Nothing charges. They even pack in better specs on paper. You have every right to buy one of those if that’s what you need.
The rest of us chose Nothing for its minimalism and optimization. We chose it because of the clean OS that cuts out the bloatware. That’s the reason a Nothing phone with only a 5000 mAh battery delivers more Screen-On Time (SOT) and a smoother experience than phones from POCO or OnePlus with bigger batteries and “better” processors.
Nothing’s entire identity is a monochromatic and stripped-back aesthetic. If a colorful UI and endless customization is what you want, you chose the wrong device.
Next time, spend at least a week researching the phone’s visual design and UI aesthetics. Watch videos about how the operating system actually looks and feels. Don’t buy a phone just to flex; buy it for what you NEED.
