I recently rolled back my Nothing Phone 2a to the Nothing OS 3.2 from the beta version, i.e. 4.0. I just couldn’t handle the amount of bugs, the insane battery drain and the loss of fast charging (SOMEHOW).
The battery that lasted me 2-3 days in a stable version, doesn’t last a single day, apps keep stopping and the overall experience itself isn’t that smooth. Also, I kept getting a prompt about and app called “Settings Suggestions” that kept ‘stopping’. Couldn’t figure that out.
Somehow, my phone lost the ability to rapid charge in the beta version. I would reach about 80% in just 15-20 minutes with the Nothing Cable and an Anker 45W charger, but, in the beta, it took soooo long and the battery drained too quick.
I’m not here to talk about how unfinished it is, as it is a Beta Version. But the amount of cons, severely outweigh the pros in this case.
Also, even though I rolled back. I keep getting the prompt to update to the 4.0 Beta version. The Nothing Beta Hub App isn’t even installed on my device. Could some dev look into that if possible?
