CMF1_hacker This shows how the 3a Lite is a tweaked version of the CMF Phone 2 Pro. However, I still think that Nothing should have CMF as the colourful and playful sister brand, whilst Nothing has 3 tiers of Phones: budget (Phone 3a Lite), Midrange (Phone 3a/Pro), Flagship (Phone 2 & 3).

Nothing need to prevent people using ADB to disable these pre-installed apps tbh otherwise why should brands be paying Nothing to show ads/mine personal data/etc?

You can’t fix your phone if you break the software
You can’t recover your data if you break the phone
Completely annihilating everything that Android stands for

100hzpanic If I take this phone in public people will ask me why I have two flashlights. The curvy lights on their previous phones look interesting, the matrix is gorgeous, this dot is just a dot. So it’s failing at the design purpose.

Its also much behind in functionality because you have very few options for mapping essential ringtones, and I’m assuming it doesn’t get bright enough to grab your attention

CockneyCharlie EXACTLY! people complain about the specs of this new release of nothing without considering the target market. It’s just for those people who uses their phone daily without any other worry such as heavy gaming and other technical stuff. However, I am underwhelmed by the glyph “dot” would’ve wanted even just a small bar or a mix of bar and dot just so it still has that “Nothing” feel to it.
