Kairav Bro, this is exactly the kind of feedback I needed. Thank you for actually testing it properly and recording the bugs. 🙏
I watched the videos and I can see several things that need work. The FPS drops and the bug where Lucent disappears after locking/unlocking the phone are going to be top priority. I’m also going to work on the animations, overlay behavior, and overall responsiveness.
About the persistent Android notification and restricted settings: I’ll see how much I can improve there, but some of that behavior is enforced by Android when using foreground services and sideloaded apps, so I don’t want to bypass Android security just to hide it. I’d rather implement it properly.
I also really like your preview idea. Having a small visual demo for each feature inside the app would make the settings much easier to understand, especially for new users.
For the next build I’m going to focus less on adding features and more on performance, stability, animations, and fixing these bugs first.
Keep sending me anything you find. This is still an experimental beta, and feedback like this is exactly what helps me turn it into something solid. 🔥
@Satyam Thanks a lot! ❤️ Really appreciate the feedback. I agree with you on the animations and the one-tap close — both are going on the list for the next improvements.
The Liquid Glass experiment is also still alive. I’m testing ways to get the look and behavior as close as possible without sacrificing performance or requiring screen capture. For now, I want to get the sidebar really smooth and stable first, then we can push the visuals further.
Thanks for testing it and helping improve Lucent!
