I bought my nothing phone 2a from overseas (Saudi Arabia) when I came to India and put jio sim it only shows 4g. And in the jio app it says my phone is not compatible.when i contacted the jio customer care they say than the True 5G will only support on the Indian version.

What can I do now?

Hello Everyone,

In my area having full Jio 5G network but never shows 5G network the top bar of the screen of Nothing Phone 2a only shows 4G+, then I choose 5G network by choosing manual mode but 5G network not shows on top bar of screen.

Anyone from community facing this issue, Please help for resolving issue.

    I have just started using nothing phone 2a with my Airtel 5G sim but the network fluctuates a lot in this phone(note: I am in a good 5g coverage area and was using iphone 15 plus with same 5g sim without any fluctuations).

    The network stop working on its own every 30-40 minutes and then after 5-10 minutes start working fine so probably it’s a software issue. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hope Nothing looks into this matter asap as this is giving a bad name to their reputation.

    Same thing happen with me location in pune, I request every pls mention location also.

      NuxMan I suggest downloading the app NetMonster and seeing which band your device is currently connected to. Band 28 is shared with 4G LTE and 5G technologies.

        Why do i get 4g/4g+ on my nothing 2a which i have got 2 days back

        At initial setup i got 5g on my status bar but after that i only got 4g/4g+

        I have done all checks updated my mobile my plan includes 5g……

        Any suggestions plz…..?

        Just bought 2A and initially while setup it didn’t recognize the sim after 3 restart it suddenly recognized the sim.

        But now the network does not switch to 5g but remains on 4G++.Ive tried resetting network settings, enable disable smart 5g.

        Jio app says the device meets all requirement but the app throws a error saying 5g needs to be activated

        I have purchased this phone recently and facing problem while using 5g network instead of having 5g sim card what should I do?

        I fixed my problem after a sent a feedback report along with bug report and within 30 mins 5g plus started coming

        In facing issues in 5g network connectivity, some time internet speed get very low even device showing its connected with 5G++ . Today im completely out of internet even my device showing its connected with 5g.
