Wide Angle Camera Support in Snapchat and Instagram
- (Edited)
Currently, some third party apps such as Instagram and Snapchat do not take full advantage of the camera system on Nothing Phones.
The ultrawide camera doesn’t work in other apps like whatsapp and and also in gcam.I really want to use gcam with this phone because the output from the nothing camera app is brighter and oversharpened. The videos from gcam are also superior.
Why doesn’t the ultrawide camera does not work in third party apps like Snapchat or Instagram. There is option to change between the two lenses.

Some people says that this is a phone software problem & Some say its a app problem but my 4 years old budget samsung phone have wide angle option in snapchat.

MayurPatel_L1Wg8QiKS2 i hope they provide soon in future update
Fz. which gcam do you use ? I need a better camera app too
I HOPE THEY ENABLE THE USE OF ULTRAWIDE CAMERA IN OTHER APPS TOO
Vishal Mistry I used to shuffle between a lot of gcam mods. Nothing seemed to work properly and none had support for uw camera.
I’d like to suggest the inclusion of a 0.5x lens option in Snapchat for Nothing devices. This feature would greatly enhance the photography experience, allowing users to capture wide-angle shots and unlock new creative possibilities. Incorporating this into the Snapchat app for Nothing would not only improve functionality but also align with the sleek and innovative approach of Nothing products.
Thank you for your consideration, and I’m excited to see what comes next for Nothing!
