Guys, don’t blame moderators for anything; they are just doing their job. All the departments operate independently.
I read a few people talking about marketing and everything, but that’s not how a company operates. Moderators can only report to the Community Board Advisors (CBO), whose role is to address and find solutions for the issues.
Moderator roles are only to ensure Community guidelines, managing & merging of contents , providing support while engaging in conversation to make forum alive , facilitating discipline to ensure the conversation stay on topic and resolving disputes….
But yes i do agree moderators should actively engage with the audience, addressing concerns and providing solutions when needed.
Their role is crucial in maintaining a positive and constructive atmosphere within the community.
Therefore, it’s essential for moderators to possess the skills necessary to effectively manage and resolve issues that arise, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants…… hope they should learn this while in there training period.
