battery is Draining too fast after 2.5.4 update. Battery doesn’t last long. It’s giving just 5 to 6 hours only, we need to charge twice a day.. All Settings and modifications we have tried on mobile but there is no use of them. Nothing should clear this issue aa early as possible in the next update…

A couple of days ago, my Screen On Time (SOT) suddenly dropped from 6-7 hours to less than 3 hours without any apparent reason. There wasn’t an update or any other indication of a software problem. In the battery usage stats, I don’t see any particular app causing the drain; every app uses a fair amount of battery. For example I am almoste at 50% and SOT is just something more then 1 hour.
I tried using a 45W charger for two days and noticed that the battery drain became much faster after that, so I switched back to my old Pixel charger, but the battery drain still persists. It might just be a coincidence that the issue started when I switched chargers. Has anyone else experienced the same issues?
I purchased nothing 2a two months back …phone battery is draining very fast Since last month after the update of nothing OS 2.5.5.a…I have been using phone on battery power saving mode from past 1 month..I have been using nothing 45w charger and orginal cable. Should I get my battery replaced? Please help.
After updating my nothing phone 2a to 2.5.5.a, battery draining issue has increased drastically. Even the charging speed on the phone is unstable sometimes, i think this is because the overheating of the phone..my average phone temperature is round 37-41°c….. there are my things to fix in upcoming updates.

SangramBiswal_69PFOdmjnA I get backup for 1.5 to 2 days. At night when no usage it drains some 6 percent. I think that background running apps and network might also consume battery. I’m changing battery usage app setting to “Restrictive”. Please comment ways to reduce battery background usage
Have anyone tried to reset phone to factory settings? I am thinking about it but its a tedious job..

Ezotericar I did this a week ago. As for results? Battery optimisation were taking 2-3 days but today I got more than 7,5h SOT - charged np2a on friday and I have now 26% left. I disabled many setting connected with location and with nothing weather app - I don’ use high accuracy location with almost any app ( only with google maps) and limit the location usage when the apps is in use - not in the background.
On a side note the camera after factory reset seem to be a bit better but the color accuracy is sometimes off especially with red colors.

i also getting 83% ussage of battery from WIFI how can we solve it ?? anyone iam new to Nothing and currently using Nothing Phone 2a
TNPL Tnx mate, this was helpful. Cant find energy to do it myself, the login, passwords and everything, also cant recall when is the last time I needed to do factory reset on some device… Anyway very helpful, tnx again!
VyomGor I am facing the same problem from last 2 updates!!!!
TNPL this suggestion really helped me. I use weather and Snapchat. Using precise location. I restricted my top used apps and removed precise location and I already can tell battery is lasting longer. From what I can tell it seems like the OS is not very good at showing true usage times and it’s hiding a lot of factors that we don’t know to check on.
