I think if you talk about camera performance, phone 2 is still at its beginning stage, maturity level is still far away.

          Absolutely, Remi. I also often wonder if people have even understood how a forum works before they post wildly.

          On the other hand, the Forum structure also invites them to do so. Directly on the homepage, all topics are confused in the middle. Maybe Nothing could think about improving the forum structure.

            Nothing not able to manage multiple devices software updates, phone 2 last update jan 23,2024.but phone 2 users still waiting and feture of nothing is nothing in India.

            After updating 2.5.4.a, my phone 2a lost mobile network. It shows E and not getting 4g or 5g network. Please help immediately as I am working remotely using mobile network.

              Jeez, I forgot why I opened this thread! I received the update this evening and it’s installed successfully. I haven’t really tested any claimed fixes though. Hopefully someone updates on the state of charging and camera saturation levels.

              Thank you so much Nothing for fixing the lens glare and the light source exposure issue in Phone 2A. Though its there sometimes but its much better now. Also, for direct light source, in both primary camera normal mode and UW. the light source is still over exposed sometimes but changing it to HDR or Ultra HDR fixes the issue to a large extent .Previously this was not happening.

              Really impressed with Nothing`s update rollout and quick rectification of bugs though I still believe camera and light control can be improved more given that both UW and primary lens are 50 MP.

              For Nothing Phone 2 users, I can understand your frustration for not getting updates for 2 months. But I doubt there is any brand out there who fixes bugs and rolls out updates so fast. Being a user of nearly every renowned brand out there, we all have seen major issues in smartphones from brands like Apple ,Samsung ,Oneplus etc. How can we forget Apple`s strategy of intentionally reducing battery charge capacity, Oneplus`s screen green line issue, Samsung smartphones being a live grenade and getting banned from airports. I am not even mentioning the issues with Redmi, Realme and Poco. Even after such fiascos, these brands turned it around and now rolling out such stable devices.

              I think we all can be a little bit more patient with Nothing provided its relatively a new company and its only been 2 months since you all got updates. Brands like Redmi are releasing smartphones with Android 13 previously. I know Nothing Phone 2 is an expensive flagship killer device but it`s better to get updates with meaningful fixes rather than superficial on paper ones.

              pavlus I 2nd THAT!!! It is dangerous to use watches instead of handsfree in car!

                One strange thing I am noticing in this new update 2.5.4.a , if there is automatic face detection in the image as well as a strong light source e.g if there is a light bulb/tv screen/laptop screen and a human being / picture is detected in the same frame, the light source suddenly becomes extremely over-exposed.

                Definitely a new bug which needs looked into.

                Let me know if anyone else is facing this issue.

                Remi F hey remi i know for you phone 2 has 0 bugs but i also hate this update cry babies but 2 things i have faced in past 2 weeks like when switching from wifi to data sometimes it takes to much time or no network also phone 2 camera sucks in everything stock camera or social media it’s just plain it’s like i’m using a 20k phone still i’m hoping they will improve it👍

                  Im really impressed that this almost 25mb update has resolved the most annoyed statis noise while hearing a call. As I highlighted this issue in the beginning.👍

                  Moreover, color saturation and other small issue in camera has also been resolved impressively.

                  I wish Nothing can resolve that post processing issue too bcoz I love to take my toddler’s pic.. but aa he is moving alot while taking pics.. due to which I couldn’t able to click a steady pic.. as the camera take tooooooooooooo long on post processing. Please resolve this also
