Got buds on 22/07/24 : updated to latest software version.Did 2 full charge cycles buds case drop down to 50% level and after that case goes dead 0%(red light) wont detect in app. From flipkart(Seller: BTPLD)

29/07/24 visited nothing service center : They have taken the buds for further testing and gathering proof.

I had to make it to the service center in less than a week.

    There is a survey regarding CMF BUDS on the case . I think we all should raise this issue in the survey. I did it and submitted the link of this community. Please if a survey pops up everyone fill it so that the company may look into this issue if many people report it.

    arbusto_1 For me the buds don’t connect to the phone when the case’s battery level is low. I have to connect the case to a power source to even use the buds, even though they are fully charged.

      VatsalyaSingh the earbuds drain every last bit of charge from the case. If the case is below 50% then case goes dead.

      I think by this point we all can agree there is something really wrong with the calibration around discharge. I hope Nothing recognizes this and fixes it soon😞

      I was just about to purchase these buds and it is literally in my Flipkart cart. But I just thought to done some research before buying these because I was really upset with my Oneplus buds battery lifespan which I had before. But this discussion on battery life of case making me worried. At these point of time should I drop the idea of buying these CMF Buds?

        qa_sourabh Surely, I’ll suggest going for some other ear buds in this segment. Because the Buds’ case battery issue is very very bad.

        same issue its been only four days the case battery life is very poor needs to be charged every single day. people buying from flipkart are facing this issue more i think?

          Does this problem only affect headphones purchased from a specific store or is it general? I bought headphones on Amazon and I’m waiting for delivery but I don’t know now whether I can’t return them right away since there’s such a problem with the battery?

            MarcinX according to the policy they have to replace or return but in the case electronics there wont be any support from the seller from any platform, you have to contact the customer care, the buds are really good but only the case has insufficient power backup but by updating to the newer version it may have little extra duration time.

            Anonymous28 i agree with you this issue is not only with the case, even the earbuds. I don’t think Nothing and CMF are paying attention to Buds issue.

            I bought mine in January, it has been working flawlessly for about 8 months. I was able to charge the budd 2-3 times on a single charge of the case. From last month the case battery started draining significantly faster- it didn’t show any signs of battery degradation before.

            Does anyone know if cmf will replace the case battery under warranty at their physical store?

              I am also having somewhat the same issue. I dont use the buds much so sometimes it is still on 100%, but the issue is that the case drops 10% lower even though i put the buds on the case with 100% battery charge too. (Update) It happened to me too. The case drops go 1% after reaching 40% battery. Is this a software bug where it shows an incorrect percentage of battery?

              Update: Yesterday the device miraculously fixed itself. I have no idea what happened. The case is holding its charge - i haven’t charged the case since yesterday. It charged the buds to 100 percent twice and still has some juice left. I thought the battery was done and was about to go to the service centre. I also didn’t install any updates yesterday 🤔 don’t know if it’ll auto update.

              Anonymous28 I’m facing the issue man. Don’t know to solve it. Feels Iike I’m just utilising half of my buds power as I can’t use them even they are fully charged because the case is not charged. I don’t know how it suddenly falls to 0 percent directly from 50 percent.

              GuruSharan I had got it from flipkart, faced the problem where battery went from 50-0%.Service center tested cmf buds for 2 days and later on got new replacement(product was 7days old I thought it might be defective).

              On the new pair same issue persists, using cmf buds from last 3 months terrible battery life.

              Dual connection is absolute battery sucker.

              I am facing a problem in my CMF buds from starting.the battery backup of buds are good but the battery back up of case is very bad it decreases automatically and even my bud are at 100 percent my case battery decrease by 10 percent , sometimes it reduce automatically with buds what should I do
