Welcome to another instalment of the Nothing Community Monthly Photography Challenge! @Rob ⚡️ and I loved seeing everyone’s entries for last month’s theme, ‘Travel, Transport & Automobiles’.

Shoutout to @Khushal Jain, @ARCreation and @Javi6f_DSGN who shot some of our favourite photos last month. You can check out their entries here.

This month’s theme is ‘Colour & Absence of Colour’ 🌈

Are you a big fan of the Eiffel filter on Nothing OS, like I am? Have you managed to find some beauty during a grey day? Or, maybe you want to document the blooming of spring flowers over the month and create a photo series. 🌷

Let your creativity shine through, and look out for spontaneous photo opportunities throughout the month.

We’ll share our top 3 favourites here on nothing.community.

Drop your photos under this post and be sure to share the story behind the image, plus what device and settings you used! Be sure to tag #withNothing on social media if you’ve shot with a Nothing Phone.

Below are a couple of examples shot by me on Phone (2). The first image is of shadows projected onto my bedroom wall, with small rainbows created from the suncatcher I have hanging in the window. The second is from a recent trip to Barcelona, where the sun shone through the stained glass of La Sagrada Familia!

  • Thank you everyone for your photos and your stories from this month! Loved seeing everyone’s takes on the theme, ‘Colour & Absence of Colour,’ and getting some insights into why you snapped your photo.

Some of you went full black and white, whilst some of you used lighting to our advantage to highlight the colours in a dark space. 💡

Natalie ✨ Back in the simpler times, fancy gifts weren’t a thing. We didn’t crave expensive stuff, just the joy of a simple bike ride with Dad every evening. Life was about minimal needs and overflowing love. Remember learning to ride on bumpy fields with Dad? Even falls turned into laughter. We weren’t focused on what to get, just on being present in the moment, together. From breezy bike rides to wobbly starts, those memories capture the essence of pure joy. Cool air, clear minds, and hearts free from expectations - just love, happiness, and warmth. This picture is a reminder of how cool it felt, back then.

1st was taken in Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon.

2nd was taken during Ganga Aarti in Varanasi at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Abstract “Frames” colorful yet so pale

The scorching heat of the sun is trying to fit in the shadows with the help of the glass window, this symphony of light and shadows and the symmetry of the frames is truly magical to the eyes.

Shot on iPhone 11 last weekend when I was visiting my parents in my home town. It was pretty the transition when the sun goes down and the bars and restaurants are still turning the lights on… I saw that there were these flares of sun light coming out even at the beginning of the night and I thought why not.

Last month I went to my village and there is a small hill. Whenever I visit my village, I definitely visit that hill because it reminds me of my childhood, and I feel very nostalgic there.

And these photos, I clicked there on that evening.

Recently i visited dadar chowpaty with my best friend. And the sunset seemed to be much beautiful ❤️ i captured some images with my nothing phone 1 but these 2 are my all time favourite.

1st image is of the pretty sunset and colours of the evening.

2nd image is a portrait shot of my best friend a few minutes after the sunset when the sky was verry pretty and there is a sea link and there where lights on it so i got very beautiful bokeh and the after sunset lights where also very pretty.

      A barbaric history - A painful incident

Eyes closed as all are dead, freedom is never free.

True incidents will open our eyes to love each other rather filling with hate and jealousy….
