I’ve also had this issue for a while now and for me it’s the phone status bar and the navigation bar and also at times I see the status bar of Instagram also… I’ve visited the service centre and got my phone 2a serviced also and still the issue hasn’t been resolved… please lmk if your issue has been solved and how did you do it?!

@Carl @Nothing Fan Hub @nothingtechfanpage A grey/black line badly fully visible on the lock screen display and sometimes on the main screen of

the phone during low brightness in dark room and also have slight green tint problem on the screen during the low

brightness and it is very clearly visible when you decrease the level of brightness and this problem only visible in dark room

MDARIJ it’s normal’…the fingerprint sensor is optical which means it uses super brightness filled light to scan your fingerprint…so other pixels should be shutdown temporarily (by green tint method) to give the fingerprint reader an accurate reading…. You can notice that if you turned off fingerprint sensor security in your phone…it looks normal…now you got it?….the green tint is for a reason…..

HyunSikWoo Hey i got same issue today i was watching One piece latest episode after 24minutes I could see some visible shade line the part where video was playing after 30minutes the shade was gone And more off i have a Brandnew device i think it is cause of update because in Nothing OS 2.5 i never encountered this issue

And i was Watching on Crunchyrool In HDR

I am also confused is it software or hardware issue

I’ve had my Nothing Phone 2 for around 2 years and use it steady with brightness always set on max and I haven’t gotten the slightest bit of burn in.

It is strange that people face burn-in screens with the new technologies of amoled screens.

vovan-v you face burn in only on amoled , even high end samsung tvs . ips doesnt get this issue

HyunSikWoo It’s because of the AOD. I am a samsung user and they have adopted a moving AOD which keeps shifting. This protects screen from burning. The moment I saw AOD on my nothing is not moving. I disabled it.

Abhijith_R im curious about the same! was it an actual hardware issue or was that a system glitch and has been fixed by Nothing in the update. i was just about to buy a new nothing phone 2a which is on sale rn in India until this issue surfaced and i found posts about it everywhere.

I’ve been experiencing a minor screen burn-in issue on my Nothing Phone (2A). The problem started after sometime of buying the phone and when I started facing the replacement window had been closed so I wouldn’t able to make a replacement and I talked to service centre too but they been refusing for the replacement and sometime it does have have but if grainy animation so I don’t know what to do
