It is strange that people face burn-in screens with the new technologies of amoled screens.

vovan-v you face burn in only on amoled , even high end samsung tvs . ips doesnt get this issue

HyunSikWoo It’s because of the AOD. I am a samsung user and they have adopted a moving AOD which keeps shifting. This protects screen from burning. The moment I saw AOD on my nothing is not moving. I disabled it.

Abhijith_R im curious about the same! was it an actual hardware issue or was that a system glitch and has been fixed by Nothing in the update. i was just about to buy a new nothing phone 2a which is on sale rn in India until this issue surfaced and i found posts about it everywhere.

I’ve been experiencing a minor screen burn-in issue on my Nothing Phone (2A). The problem started after sometime of buying the phone and when I started facing the replacement window had been closed so I wouldn’t able to make a replacement and I talked to service centre too but they been refusing for the replacement and sometime it does have have but if grainy animation so I don’t know what to do

Bought the phone in Flipkart Big billion sale, and now by the 4th day, the screen burn appeared
does the service centre Replace under 7 days replacement policy
also updated to the lastest version of system update
even after updating the issue still persists

manojabhilash I am not sure if that is screenburn issue.. the top nav bar is lil gray than whole screen. I think we getting unified black with OS 3.
